Ski In/Ski Out – with Beautiful Mountain Views!

Welcome to this beautiful Ski/Bike In/Out condo in Mountain Lodge, steps away from the Ballhooter lift! The condo is directly adjacent to the Snowshoe Village with all the restaurants, bars, stores, Split Rock Pools, and other attractions nearby. Our condo is equipped with everything you need. The space is warm and inviting with a lot of unique touches and features beautiful mountain views from the balcony. Our mission is to ensure you enjoy your experience on the mountain, and we are only an email away, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

This condo unit offers:
- High speed internet
- Kitchen is equipped with a Keurig coffee machine, regular drip coffee machine, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, pots/pans and everything else you need for cooking
- Bedroom has 1 (one) Queen size bed, ceiling fan, smart TV, a closet
- There is a full bathroom in the hallway with a combination of tub and shower
- Living Room has a queen sleeping sofa, and smart TV
- Dining room table with 4 chairs
- All linen for beds and towels for each registered guest is included. Initial essential items such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and dish soap are included to kick off your stay. Additional items are available at the front desk, if needed.
- Stays of 4 nights or more are eligible to get a full linen refresh at no additional charge.
- Private Parking - as space allows, 1 (one) free parking spot is provided for passenger vehicles starting 5pm on the day of check in. During peak time, if there is not enough parking in the Mountain Lodge parking lot, there is close by overflow parking (at the "Top of the World" parking lot), which is accessible via the Snowshoe Resort shuttle
- Portable AC unit (there is no central AC in the condo, but it doesn’t get too hot on the mountain and there are fans in every room)

NO PETS. NO SMOKING. NO BIKES allowed in the condo. Smoking is not permitted on Mountain Lodge balconies or within 25 feet of the building. (you can rent a bike locker from Mountain Lodge front desk or use the free bike shed). $300 Association fine for violations will be passed to renters.

- Snowshoe’s Kids World activities take place in Mt. Lodge, and parents are welcome to visit the Parent Zone. There is a viewing area of the new teaching terrain on Mountain Lodge Lawn, and you can grab a bite at the Basin for lunch (Basin is the day lodge on the mountain)
- On site maintenance staff and guest service front desk
- Cell service is limited due to the National Radio Quiet Zone. AT&T is the best service provider. Verizon\T-Mobile seem to operate just as well. However, you will have a landline phone inside the condo too.

- Please note that this condo is not affiliated in anyway with Snowshoe Resort. Snowshoe Resort information provided to highlight key Snowshoe Resort amenities that are in close proximity to Mountain Lodge and our Condo. Please reference Snowshoe Resort's website for the latest information on hours of operation, tickets, pricing, etc.
- Snowshoe’s Split Rock Pools and hot tubs are next door, directly across from our parking lot and the Alleghany Springs entrance/exit. You must reserve tickets separately to access from Snowshoe Resort (See Snowshoe’s website for hours and availability)
- Waffle Cabin is located directly outside the Ballhooter entrance/exit (See Snowshoe’s website for hours and availability)
- Wildcat Provisions is a short walk from Mtn Lodge in the case that guests need to purchase any food, quick supplies or toiletries that cannot be purchased at the front desk (See Snowshoe’s website for hours and availability)
- Snowshoe Resort Shuttle picks up and drops off at Mtn Lodge’s entrance should guests wish to visit other areas of the mountain like Silver Creek

The location was absolutely perfect!!! We could walk to everything! Slopes right out of the side of the building!!! The condo had just what we needed for the weekend. The bed was sooo comfortable and the condo was clean. Check-in and check out was a breeze. The staff was so helpful with our questions! Loved the gift shop right outside the door!!!! Would totally recommend and try to come again!!!!

The 1st floor is a little misleading. You’re actual on the second floor when on balcony. So you can’t ski up to the back to access the unit. It also good use a little TLC.

Wonderful condo at Snowshoe. Clean, very comfortable and next to slopes. Condo has everything you need for a great stay. I had a great night's sleep on the bed and fell asleep on the couch watching TV. Beautiful mountain view.

We just returned from an incredible stay at this Mountain Lodge condo, and I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.I have to mention how impressive the building renovations are! Mountain Lodge has undergone a complete transformation with a beautiful exterior facelift and a stunning updated lobby. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a modern, welcoming entrance that sets the tone for your entire stay. The refreshed common areas make the whole building feel upscale and inviting – it's clear the property management has invested in creating a first-class experience for guests. It really elevates the entire stay and makes you feel like you're at a premium resort.But the real showstopper? Those views! The panoramic mountain vistas from the back of the condo were absolutely breathtaking. We spent our mornings sipping coffee while watching the sunrise paint the peaks in shades of pink and gold, and our evenings relaxing with those same stunning mountains as our backdrop. It never got old.And for skiers, the location simply cannot be beat. We were on the slopes in minutes – the convenience of such easy access meant we maximized our ski time and could even pop back for a quick lunch break. No long drives or shuttle waits!We're already planning our return trip!

A perfect spot in the village for a week of skiing. The condo is a perfect size for 2-3 people. Everything is a short walk. There's a lot of noise from the hallway so bring earplugs.

Great place and very kid friendly. We had to leave early due to a family emergency but the time there was great. The only gripe is the internet is very slow. Very difficult to work remotely. This isn’t anything the owner can control or upgrade. The building needs new wiring to support better technology than DSL running over old phone line.

Perfect location and great communication

This property was the perfect location for experiencing the village and the 4848 music festival. Convenient parking and easily walkable to all the major Snowshoe amenities. The property was clean, if not a little dated (the whole building is a bit dated, so no surprise there. Being familiar with Snowshoe, I expected this). We had a minor maintenance issue and the owner responded nearly immediately, which is appreciated! On site maintenance had it fixed within minutes. Having the portable A/C was a lifesaver. The balcony was still out of service, but it looked like they were about finished with the refurbishment, so hopefully that won’t be an issue with your stay. This was the only bad thing for me, but it couldn’t be helped. It’s going to be awesome when it’s finished! Beautiful views, convenient location, great owner. I’ll be back if I need to stay at Snowshoe again!

Good location, not very clean or well stocked, building is a little scary looking

Parking - on the day we went it was difficult to find any. The following day it was not too bad to move the truck to a better location but parking is tight.Check in - very easy, nice front desk worker. The outside of the building looks nice but the inside is what I would expect from a trucker motel that rents rooms by the hour. In need of serious redo. Did not give an impression of a safe, clean, or “nice” place to stay at all.Room - not in great shape, lots and of rusted hinges, old worn out cabinets, linens were terribly thin, pillows terrible (bring your own), some linens had others hair imbedded into it. Not much care for the tenent. Had soap but no shampoo or conditioner - bring your own had coffee maker but no coffee - bring your own. View is nice. It was a little loud here and there - very thin walls.Location - great! Short walk to the village. About as close as you can be to the Ballhooter ski lift.The room is on the first floor and is 3 feet away from the arcade game area which is just unsightly, loud, and weird.Overall recommend staying here if you are looking for a cheaper place to stay and won’t be in the room other than sleeping. But bring your own toiletries, pillows, and coffee. Maybe some linens too.

Great view, but condo needs some work.

The condo has an amazing view, its location is perfect, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be managed well. It could be a really nice place with a lot of work and definitely a deep cleaning. The floor was filthy (our white socks are now brown), there were food crumbs and giant dust bunnies around the refrigerator, the stove was dirty, there was mold/mildew all over the shower curtain, the bed quilt had crusty white patches on it, the kitchen faucet was loose, etc. I could continue but I have a word limit. Also, the lodge's quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am, but drunk people hanging out in the lobby kept us up until after midnight when we finally called the front desk (which is in the lobby) to complain. It's definitely not a quiet, relaxing vacation spot, especially when you feel forced to go to bed completely dressed and are afraid to walk around barefoot. Like I said, it could be a great place with some maintenance, cleaning, and a little pride.

Playing Hooky

Loved the accomodations! My buddy and I came up for a quick trip and get on the slopes on a Monday away from work. The room was just as listed online and a convenient walk over to the village for dinner/drinks in the evening. Then just steps to the slopes in the morning. Our host was very responsive to questions and I would definitely rent this place again :)

Our family moved to WV from the west coast. We're avid outdoors people and we love to ski, bike, hike, swim, wakeboard, whatever! We live in Morgantown, the home of the West Virginia University Mountaineers.

Snowshoe is great all year! Best skiing and biking in the region, great village atmosphere -- similar to those we love at Tahoe and Whistler out west.

What makes this property unique

Easy parking and super convenient building with ski-in ski-out access. Our unit is on the first floor, far enough from the front door to be quieter, close enough that it's super easy to get in and out. We've got a great slope and lake view that keeps you looking outside. We've updated the unit extensively with real wide plank white oak floors, appliances, tvs, and more. A great location and 24 hour security and maintenance make Mountain Lodge a great place for a weekend or longer!
