Kettle Moraine Long Lake Vacation Get Away. Comfort begins as you enter the door to your lake frontage studio style vacation home. Take in the view of boaters and wildlife enjoying the waters from either the inside living room or out on the deck. Stepping out to the beach area where you will be able to catch some sun, play some games in the sand or get into the water with some of the water toys we have to use. Maybe do some fishing from the pier and don’t worry if you didn’t bring a pole, we have enough here for all to use. Grab some smore goodies and start a bonfire or simply star gaze while sharing many stories. Parking available right by your entrance door and the code to enter will be sent to you the day before your arrival.
Getting out on the water; taking in all you can while vacationing on Long Lakes 2 mile of water with 2 separate Kettle Morian beaches, great fishing, skiing, swimming or simply floating around on a tube. Bring your boat and dock it on our pier which is in view sight from your deck. Enjoying the convenience of waking up and jumping in your boat to get the morning bits. No boat, no problem. We have a rowboat and a canoe for all to use. We have plenty of fishing poles and life jackets for all sizes. Fishing license can be bought online and a good variety of bait available up the road at the local gas station.
In the winter months ice skating, ice fishing, making snowmen, jump on the trails with your snow mobiles right from the front yard. Only 15 minutes away is Sunburst Ski & Tubing with awesome hills to concur.
While exploring our small town with an up north friendly atmosphere (You could start your morning with some delicious coffee and a healthy breakfast at 3 Sweets Bakery and for lunch visit our well know Hamburger Haus, and don't forget to save room for some ice cream. Save some time to visit our Dundee Mill and a short walk around our 3 free for children fishing ponds. Road House, Mc Juggers and Camp Dundee are well known places for their spirits and good food. We have 1 gas station with the basic small station snacks & beverages, also a verity of fishing bait. May – October, every Sunday we have our local farmer’s market. If you are unable to make it on Sunday, ever Thursday’s, only 15 minutes away, in Kewaskum has their farmer’s market 4pm-7pm.
Being in the Kettle Morian State Forest there are more than 100 miles of mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, nature trails and hunting. Bring your ATVs or snow mobile and enjoy 40 plus miles of riding. Going from small town to small town finding many adventures along the way. Centrally located around West Bend, Fond Du lac, Elkhart Lake and Kohler where many events are held. We are here to help make your vacation filled with great memories.

Relaxing, quiet lake stay

We had a great stay at the lakehouse. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and offers semi-private outdoor access without being too secluded. We were able to visit Sheboygan and Plymouth and spend time at the house on the balcony and the water. Owners are very kind and responsive. Would highly recommend to a small family with younger children!

the property is a great location for those interested in the Kettle Moraine State forrest Northern Unit or the ice age trail. The studio was very clean and tastefully decorated. We appreciated some of the complementary items i.e.local maple syrup. The steep steps up to the loft bedroom would probably not be suitable for young children or older adults.

Ty and Jennifer are great hosts and the house is very comfortable, clean and has thoughtful extras for things you may need like flashlights by the door, and a first aid and sewing kit in the bathroom, plus lots of board and video games. The view from the back of the house is amazing and there is a beautiful newly done patio to enjoy it from plus a fire pit down closer to the water. They responded immediately to all my messages and were very understanding when illness cut our trip short.

Getaway on the lake

This property was very relaxing! Its a very cute and fun little space and fit 4 people perfectly! We would've enjoyed our getaway even more if it wasn't raining all weekend but that isn't anyone's fault! Can't wait to be back! :)

Cute house with a beautiful view

The house was really cute! And really clean! We came in the fall and really appreciated the lake view. I wish we would have been able to stay longer and take advantage of all that's here! Our host answered our questions promptly and was easy to work with. We hiked the Ice age trail and Kettle Moraine nearby. They were lovely! Fond du Lac is close, if you need more dining/shopping. One small suggestion: offer a few more little things in the kitchen. I.E. tea for the tea drinkers; cream/sugar for the coffee.

Cool Lake House

The dwelling is super clean and nice. Very thoughtful use of space, cool decor and all the things you need. We cooked all our meals in the little kitchen without an issue. Great shower! Not exactly a beach out in front. Sand and gravel slope. They are working on the landscaping. You cannot swim off the property, it is thick muck and lily pads. You need a plan to get out about 100 feet to water about 15 feet deep, then it's fine with pretty clear water. We had a 5X8 inflatable swim deck which worked great as long as it's anchored out near the buoy line.

Couples getaway

The house is newly remodeled but only the "apartment " we stayed in is finished.The place is very nice.The only complaint for interior is that there is no bathroom door.Being a new remodel Im not sure how putting at least a pocket door in instead of partial wall for privacy couldn't have worked. The outside has a long way to go to being an outdoor oasis.Climbing down the gravel/weed ridden hills to get to water was not great. Definitely not in flip flops or barefoot!Very much felt like a construction site ..we have a boat and did not bring thankfully bc tieing up on that dock would've been a bad idea...when done Im sure it will be wonderful. Great places to eat and hike trails are good.

Lake Home

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Home. Everything was thoughtfully there for us. Pitfall, there was not easy access to the lake front. The path to access these amenities was not for persons with health issues (back or knee). We love fires and hanging out at the beach, not possible. The deck off the unit was a bit unstable, it wobbled a bit when walked on. The deck could have used stairs to the lower level. It was not a plus to this beautiful unit. It is under construction, so we did the best we could to enjoy the scenery and boat watching. Overall, the unit was comfortable, relaxing and clean. Exterior not so much.

We enjoy many outdoor activities, staying busy with our mini hobby farm and continuous improvements around the yards. We both have busy full days but always make Sundays our day of church, rest and togetherness.

We purchased this property because of its location and how scenically beautiful it is being on and off the water. We are blessed enough to be able to share this beautiful retreat with others when we are not staying here.

What makes this property unique

Lake frontage property with the priceless view, plenty of yard games and water equipment. Canoe and rowboat with all safety gear here for all to use or bring your own boat and dock it on our pier in front of rental property. You can BBQ on our deck or grill out on the sand. An UpNorth feel with miles and miles of hiking/biking trails, lakes, beaches and yet still only 15 minutes away from a town that will have all your essential needs and more.
