This was our kids first weeklong scouting camp at Camp old Indian. This cabin was only nine minutes from the camp and allowed us to let our boys be on their own, but also to be able to support the troop if they needed anything from Travelers Rest which was very close as well. Thank you so much for letting us stay here. It was very clean and comfortable.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. We loved the location which made it easy to enjoy many beautiful locations in South and North Carolina. The owner has thought of all the little things to make the stay more enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed screened in porch.

The only negative I have is the location. It is right off the main Hwy and you can see and hear the loudness of the vehicles.
The place itself is perfect. It is cozy and very clean. Everything you need for a getaway. Will definitely stay there again.
The cottage was delightful - clean and cozy. My mom (74), her cousin (also 70’s) and me (48) stayed a single night to enjoy the nearby mountains and wineries. We all enjoyed staying here. The loft is suitable for kids and kids at heart. Road noise was minimal. I often need earplugs to sleep away from home, but didn’t find them necessary here. Group consensus was that each of us would enjoy staying here again.
We had a wonderful time! The cottage was cozy, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the screened porch and took full advantage of it. There were a couple of times I needed to reach out to the host because of changes in plans and she was more than accommodating. As a couple of the reviews mentioned, the cottage is close to the highway and you can hear the traffic. If that is something that bothers you foam ear plugs might help block out the noise when you're trying to sleep. The next time we visit Travelers Rest again we'd love to stay here again!
