So good to hear that you had a great stay at our cabin. We love it too! We do our best to give every guest a relaxing stay. You all are welcome back every time!
Beautiful waterfront property located in a very quiet neighborhood. Everything was immaculately cleaned when we arrived, and the kitchen is spacious with granite countertops which was amazing, because I was prepping food for an anniversary party. There’s also a large screened-in patio in the back where we drank our coffee in the mornings. Kayakes were available and we took them out to the open river, absolutely beautiful experience!
Large, adirable and well stocked cabin. Family had a ball kayaking and using the fire pit. The Host was very accommodating. Stayed for three nights in March and would happily stay again.

Awww I love hearing that you enjoyed the cabin. It’s our favorite place to be! You all are welcome back every time. We would be happy if you want to make it a tradition as many due. :)
The house was so cute and a great location. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was also very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable ( I would put kids in the roll aways ) There wasn't enough room for both roll aways in the room but we only needed one. We fished in the slough and sat around the fire pit. Just make sure to wear a lot of bug spray. There is not a boat dock at the property like we thought but a minute away. The host was AMAZING and so easy to connect and communicate with. Overall, loved the stay!

I’m happy to hear you had a great stay! I know your friends brought their boat and I was happy to give some tips on where to go. Caddo is a most beautiful lake! Just a quick note for those reading this thread. There is definitely a dock but not a boat ramp. The reviewing guest doesn’t boat and got the two very different words mixed up. The dock on the property is large and has two eating tables on it but there is no boat ramp. The public boat ramp is just five minutes down the road.
Host was helpgul & responsive! The placecwas beautiful!

I’m glad you all enjoyed it. Please come back again when the water lilies are blooming in spring and everything comes alive- it’s truly beautiful! You all were wonderful guests and we would love to host you again!
We loved it! Loved that the kitchen had everything you needed to cook with. Loved that there was blankets everywhere, we are blanket people, even though I brought my own, we still used the ones in the living room. We did bring extra folding camp chairs for seating since there were 6 adults, overall stay was great.

Did not use the fireplace, the kitchen was well stocked except a couple of things that was needed. I didn't find any wine glasses but we made do fine. The other was heavy duty big spoons for mixing potato salad. All minor things. The kids enjoyed the big screened in back porch.

I’m so glad you had a wonderful stay. Thanks on the heads up- sounds like our wooden spoons have walked off. They sometimes do so we will get more. The wine glasses are at the top shelf above the coffee cups. I might need to move them down to be more visible. Thanks for letting us know. We strive to give our guests the very best!
You all are welcome back anytime!
The house is very nice, close to family dollar and a country store. The covered patio was great for family time and also the fire pit downstairs was great for the men to sit and talk. Very nice place. I’m definitely staying again soon.

Oh I wish you would have called or messaged me. I would have directed you to the master closet where the extra cots and luxury blow up mattress is- along with linens. It says on the listing exactly what the beds are- so you don’t have to guess. It also shows in the pictures and main information.
I’m always a phone call away and my response rate is within the hour and most of the time immediate. We would welcome you back anytime to enjoy the cabin with all beds. :)

Aww… we would love to have you all back again whenever you are ready. The Crappie are on now through March so come on back! :)
The host did a great job telling us about the things to do in the area. It was a cute cabin. The main thing I wish I knew was the twin beds are just thin mattress pads that go on the floor and do not fit in any of the rooms. We loved being able to paddle from the house to the State park. Wish there wasn't a burn ban. Sitting by the fire under the stars would of made it much better.

Thanks for the great review! I so wish you would have called me. The mattress pads go on the twin cots in the master closet! Yikes- you went the entire weekend without the twin beds? Oh no! The cots fold up so the mattress pads in the bedroom closets cant fold into the cots. Well darn- not fun. I am just a quick call away. Glad you had at least the king and queen beds. You all are welcome to come again and use the real extra beds :) I am so glad you enjoyed your time anyway and the burn ban was lifted the following week. Please come again and enjoy all that the cabin has to offer.
It was great! Kayaking was amazing, the house is cozy and beds were comfortable! She even brought an extra kayak so my family of 6 could all go together!

Overall, our family of 6 enjoyed our stay, although we had a hard time understanding how this property could comfortably sleep 10 people. 8, yes, but not 10.Great things:The cabin was clean and orderly when we arrived. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the bathrooms have soap, shampoo, and conditioner included. The screened-in back porch is a great place to relax at night, although there was not enough seating for us. We enjoyed the firepit, too, although it also lacked adequate seating for the 6 of us. The beds are decently comfortable, and that was great.Issues:One of the side bedrooms had a flickering lightbulb which did not work consistently, which was annoying. My husband was able to switch out the lightbulb and get it to work, but that is NOT a responsibility a client should have to take on. The other side bedroom had no ceiling fan at all, and got hot. None of the lights with fans attached had separate switches from their fans, which is an easy fix, and would increase convenience for the clients. Lastly, the shower water in the main bathroom smelled strongly of sulphur the entire time. A filter could solve that issue.Mainly, adequate seating, fans, lighting, and better-smelling water would have improved the stay, although it was overall nice, despite these inconveniences.
We absolutely adored this quaint cabin! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable beyond my expectation, and kayaks were a treat! We appreciated the quiet neighborhood. I hope to be back.
