This Cape Cod property sleeps /accommodates up to 20 Adults and has 1 acre of land to sprawl out on. There's a PRIVATE Guest house on its own lot with a private large fenced in yard, that's adjacent to the Main home! The Guest house is included in the rental rates shown. Both homes together have over 2600 square feet of living space. The Main home along with the Guest House combined sits on a 1 acre corner lot. When you combine both homes together this makes a fabulous private retreat for a large family or friends gathering. These properties are both fenced in on a corner lot for the maximum privacy you can only imagine!

The Guest house is a lovely 2 bedroom 1 bath home with A/C, Wifi and Cable TV.
This Guest home sleeps 8 adults! The master bedroom has a King size bed. Bedroom #2 has a Queen size bed. The living room also has 2 full size pull out sofa beds that sleeps an additional 4 adults. There is a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room. The Guest house also has its own washer and dryer.
This Guest house is a fully functional 2 bedroom 1 bath home, adjacent to the Main home (via the backyard) There is a charcoal grill along with a patio table and chairs with umbrella.There is Plenty of seating along with a picnic table.
The Guest home also has its own entrance and driveway for extra privacy and parking space!

The Main Cape Cod Summer Home has 3 bedrooms that sleeps 6 adults and 3 full size pull out sofa-beds that sleeps an additional 6 adults. The home has a wonderful feel do to the open floor plan and the cathedral ceilings in the spacious Family Room. The home is great for those large Family gatherings. You can't beat the Central Air Conditioning in this home for those Hot Summer nights when you just want to sit back and relax! All newer modern appliances. We also have a Washer & Dryer. Enjoy sometime outside relaxing on the patio and do some grilling in the backyard that is all fenced in for your privacy. This home is located on a private 1 acre corner lot with a Guest House. Ideal for a large family that loves to do cookouts or spend time outdoors.. There's a charcoal grill and a gas grill!! You're sure to enjoy your stay at this Summer Cape Cod Home. You are within walking distance to Main St, Hyannis Harbor, Restaurants, Shops and more!

The Cape Homes are in a Great Location to do some exploring on my some bicycle's. At the end of the street there is a nice bicycle shop that rents bikes! Hyannis House

Plus: House very clean, property manager was quite friendly and got right back to me on my questions, nice to have a big back yard to hang out in with fence for privacy. Appreciated being able to bring our dog! Easy driving distance to beaches, restaurants, Hyannis harbor, etc.Considerations: Fence was old and rotten wood in places with lots of broken slots. Because of this we kept our dog on leash at all times when we were out back for fear he'd easily "exit" the yard through any one of these openings. Renters should be aware the house is a mile from Main Street in town center. We like to walk, so this wasn't a problem for us. Not the property manager's fault, but neighbors across the street were very noisy and used rude language that we could hear. House is near Barnstable Airport so planes frequently flying low over house.

Why they chose this property

The town of Barnstable on Cape Cod is divided into 7 villages, the largest of which is Hyannis. Hyannis is the gateway to the area and, if arriving by plane, train, bus or boat, it is likely your first stop in town. The town is best known as the presidential getaway for the Kennedy clan who spent any available downtime at the family compound in Hyannis Port. The best way to see their stately homes is from sea aboard the Prudence, an old-time Maine Coastal Steamer circa 1911. Hy-Line Cruises organizes a 1-hour sightseeing cruise past the Kennedy compound. But you don't need political family ties to appreciate what drew this iconic American family to the region. The town of Barnstable, and Hyannis in particular, is beloved by travelers for its laid-back atmosphere and friendly vibe. And then there are the beaches. In Hyannis, Kalmus Beach is a popular spot for windsurfers with a constant breeze and good waves coming in from Nantucket Sound. The large beach is divided into 2 sections to safely keep swimmers and windsurfers out of each other's way. Keyes Beach is a family-friendly spot with soft, clean sand. The picnic tables and snack bar make it easy to grab lunch and return to the beach for more sandcastle-building fun. Veterans Beach is another convenient family beach and also the home of historical shrines honoring John F. Kennedy and the Korean War Memorial. In West Barnstable, Sandy Neck Beach is the longest in the area with 6 miles of pebble sands including off-road vehicle trails. All of these spots boast full beach facilities and lifeguards for safe swimming.
The town maintains an old-fashioned vibe that is a pleasant reminder of slower times. Climb aboard the Cape Cod Trolley for a slow ride around town. There's plenty to keep the little ones entertained including mini golf and a carousel on Main Street and loads of places to stock up on ice cream, snacks and penny candy...

Your guide will be happy to point out exactly what kind of whale you're looking at including humpbacks, fin-backs or the North Atlantic Right whale.Hyannis is the largest of the seven villages in the city of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Also it is the commercial and transportation hub of Cape Cod and was designated an urban area as a result of the 1990 census. Because of this, many refer to Hyannis as the 'Capital of the Cape'. It contains a majority of the Barnstable City offices, and two important shopping districts, the historic downtown Main Street and the Route 132 Commercial District, including Cape Cod Mall and Independence Park, headquarters of Cape Cod Potato Chips.
Hyannis is an highly important tourist destination and the primary ferry boat and general aviation link for passengers and freight to Nantucket Island. Hyannis also provides secondary passenger access to the island of Martha's Vineyard, with the primary passenger access to Martha's Vineyard being located in Woods Hole, a village in the nearby town of Falmouth. Due to its large natural harbor, Hyannis is the largest recreational boating and second largest commercial fishing port on Cape Cod, behind only Provincetown.
The JFK Hyannis Museum in the old Town Hall on Main St. focuses on John F. Kennedy's time spent in the town. There is a memorial to President Kennedy on the Lewis Bay waterfront that was erected by Barnstable citizens in 1966. The memorial includes a fountain and a field-stone monument with the presidential seal and JFK inscription: 'I believe it is important that this country sail and not sit still in the harbor' President-elect John F. Kennedy gave his victory speech on November 9, 1960 at the former Hyannis Armory, which is in the National Register of Historic Places.
