A beautiful property, by far the best we have had in 35 years of our lifelong friendship gatherings. The place was a perfect layout, spacious, huge fully stocked kitchen, lovely back deck with fire pit & walking distance to Northstar Village & close drive to Truckee & Lake Tahoe. Several of my girlfriends want to rent it for family gatherings.

We had an amazing stay! Our group of 14 had plenty of space, and the property was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for a large group. The game room was a total game changer and honestly one of the reasons we chose this house—the kids absolutely loved having their own space to hang out and play, which meant the adults could actually relax too! The location was great, the house had everything we needed, and it was the perfect setup for our Tahoe trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for families or larger groups!

Wonderful property for a family reunion. Lots of spaces for quiet conversation and fun game time. Very well stocked kitchen and spacious for many cooks in the kitchen.The game room is incredible. The property is walking distance from hiking trails which was a real plus.We really appreciated the owner's responding promptly to questions.

Wonderful home. But we chose not to use the downstairs game room which was a shame. We could not eat or drink downstairs so didn’t feel free to use it. Otherwise everything was fine. Spacious, well appointed furnishings and art work We especially liked he deck with the artful globe firepit

Three generations of our family stayed in this wonderful home in June. The layout allowed for room for every family member to enjoy whatever suited them. Our teens enjoyed all of the amenities in the game room and having their own space in the bunk room.The adults loved having their own suite, bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, lovely mornings on the beautiful decks and room to relax and enjoy each other’s company.The communication with our host David was excellent. He accommodated our requests as we made sure that we treated his home as ours for our stay.We enjoyed outside excursions to The Tree Top ropes and zipline course, a boat ride with captain on the lake and lovely hikes.This was a family vacation of our dreams.

Beautiful home, everything you would need for a great vacation. Loved that the kitchen was stocked with high end appliance's, pots and pans and pantry staples. The game room was a big hit, with everything in great working order. The fire pit on the deck was a bonus, since there was no snow:( We used it daily.All the beds were very comfortable. there were plenty of towels etc.We would definitely stay again

Great place!

Our family of 15 enjoyed this cabin very much! Listing was very accurate. Communication with the host was also great. Other than not being able to ski into the cabin it was perfect for our family.

Thanks, Bret! In the winter, the Home Run ski trail can be accessed from the end of our cul-de-sac - a short (~5 min) walk from our home - you can ski that trail down to the Village, or to the Highlands Gondola, for a quick trip up to the slopes or to the Ritz Carlton.

Another wonderful family vacation

We have stayed here before and like other stays had a great time. There’s plenty of room and the kitchen is well appointed. Access to Lake Tahoe and the village pool provided good entertainment. Owner Dave is extremely responsive to any questions we had.

We’ve stayed at this home many times over the years, which probably says everything you need to know. It’s an incredible property and consistently one of our favorite places to stay.David is a fantastic host—an excellent communicator, very responsive, and extremely detail-oriented. Everything is always well organized and the entire experience, from booking to checkout, is seamless.The location is ideal for skiing with easy access to the village. The layout of the home is perfect for families—the downstairs game room gives the kids their own space, while the upstairs kitchen and living area create a great gathering spot for adults.We truly can’t say enough good things about this place. There’s a reason we keep coming back, and we’re already booked for next year!

Incredible stay for the entire family

We created amazing family memories here. We arrived in a snowstorm and Dave came and shoveled everything himself to make sure we didn’t have to worry about it. He was super communicative and helpful. We enjoyed all of amenities this place has to offer. We were with a group of 13 and everyone had their own space. A+ can’t wait to come back!
