Charming Cottage - Private Community With Lake

Charming cozy cottage minutes walk to Davis Pond and members only beaches. Master bedroom with queen bed, guest bedroom with 2 twin beds. Living room has sleeper sofa. Linens are provided. Heater in the living room.There is a screen porch with sofa and dining table and chairs. Full kitchen with gas stove, including dishwasher and microwave. Bathroom has a tub and shower. Outside there is a grill, picnic table and fire pit. Canoe on request to use on the lake. No pets and no smoking in the house.

Quiet spot in the woods

Enjoyed the natural setting and peace and quiet. Might be a bit hard to find after dark. Had everything we needed.

Cute Cabin

Peggy’s cabin was extremely clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. It was very well stocked with just about everything you could think of. Peggy was an excellent host and very responsive to all our needs. I would highly recommend staying there and looking forward to a return trip.

Lovely place to rent again

Could not recommend enough this cute quiet cottage . Attended a wedding in freedom and stayed here for 2 nights , wish I could have stayed longer . Very clean and in a great location . We sat outside the second nite and just enjoyed the fire pit and looking at the stars . Thanks Peggy for answering all my questions .

Vacation get away

This was exactly what we were looking for it was quite private The cabin was very clean and equipped with everything that was needed the kitchen had everything needed like being at home There was a nice fire pit and a pergola so our first night there it rained but we were able to have a fire and sit under the pergola to stay dry wood was furnished so we didn't have to buy any canoe and kayak were available at no additional fees we were completely satisfied and are looking forward to returning next year

Perfect Getaway With All The Amenities!

Peggy's cozy cottage is the perfect getaway for a nature escape, a chance to disconnect, and retreat. Wood, propane for the grill, Kayaks and Paddle boards are all included in this rental which elevated the experience! Tucked away in the woods for ultimate peace and serenity but close enough to head out for some great hikes and shopping! Highly Recommend!

What a great place! It had that cozy and comfortable feeling with no big frills but everything you need. Family had fun enjoying the lake activities and hiking the surrounding area. Would recommend to all!

Storybook Cottage

We relished the peace and quiet. The house was perfect, tidy, charming, and full of the basic necessities we hoped for. The area was just beautiful, natural, and tranquil. I enjoyed the most relaxing morning of my summer, reading and drinking coffee in the screened porch. Kids loved the space also, for the water, the wildlife, and DVD collection.

off the beaten path

I like the surroundings and the location was perfect for everything we did. The kids loved the availability to swim and the overall serenity of the setting was awesome.I would recommend this place to anyone looking to find some restful and peaceful downtime.

Peaceful & relaxing lake house

We highly recommend this house for a fun , relaxing getaway. Thank you, Peggy for stopping by to show us where all of the canoes, kayaks & paddleboards are located. We had a great time swimming & paddling around the lake. The house was very comfortable & had everything that we needed. We'd absolutely love to stay again.

Great time at the cottage

I couldn't say more good things about the cottage. Peggy is a fantastic host. The only thing that didn't get a 5 star was the dirt road getting to the cottage. I was up there for Laconia bike week and on a bike its a little dicy at times. In a car, no problems. I loved how private the cottage was and how accomodating Peggy was with her things by the water (even if didn't use them....shows you her character and the type of host she is). I will defintitly be back.

Great location and nice property

Only 15 mins from Conway and Kancamagus highway. Very quite and nice neighborhood. The house was very clean and all the amenities we needed. The access to the pond is a nice bonus but due to cold weather we couldn’t spend much time there. The host provided with great directions. Hope to be back again.

Very disappointed

Where should I start…..the dirt road was very washed out and difficult to manage. There were no street signs to even know where we were. There is a broken down van next door that was very creepy that someone was living in. Never did find the lake. The front door would not lock, we had to push the couch in front of it. This was the scariest place I’ve ever been to. We did not sleep there and left to find a hotel. We will never go back. We had to put sheets on the beds ourselves. When I messaged the homeowner about leaving she still has not responded to us.

47th Anniversary

PERFECT

We had a wonderful vacation—even BETTER than imagined. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location and the attractions in the area!! Fantastic Getaway

This property is exactly what we were looking for to spend some quality time as a family. The house was clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great to enjoy surrounding attractions but we also had fun enjoying the pond just a short walk away. We enjoyed using the boats at the property and swimming at the small beach. We will certainly be repeat customers.
