Welcome to our beautiful condo in popular south Maui at the Kihei Akahi Resort! Our condo has just completed a major remodel and the unit looks beautiful. We've remodeled the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and installed new floors throughout. This unit has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a quick lunch or a gourmet dinner. There are beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels and boogie boards as well as snorkeling gear for your convenience. We also included tennis rackets and balls so you can play tennis on our on-site tennis courts. We also provide free WiFi and calls to USA and Canada!! This unit also has a beautiful ocean view right from the lanai. It's perfect in the morning, drinking your coffee while watching the palm trees sway in the breeze with the ocean in the background. During Whale season it's easy to spot whales right from the lanai.

THIS CONDO WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!! WITH THE LOCATION AND THE AMENITIES WE OFFER, THIS MAY VERY WELL BE THE BEST ONE BEDROOM CONDO IN OVERALL VALUE AT KIHEI AKAHI!

We loved this condo! So close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. We saw turtles, every single day a 5 min walk from our condo! The condo was clean, very well equipped, and updated! We definitely will stay here again if our travels take us to Maui once more!!

Great location for couples

The property was just as described. My wife says the kitchen was stocked better than any other place we have stayed, so there's that. The collection of beach gear was great, too. Easy walk to the beach and many restaurants. The toiletry supplies (shampoos, body wash, even sunscreen spray) was a collection of stuff left by prior guests, but it works. We contributed to the collection. Really nice having a dedicated parking space, too.

We had a great 9-day stay with our family in this condo. Would definitely recommend. PROS: - terrific location close proximity to the beach, pools and town. - beach/snorkel and tennis/pickle ball equipment - nice, updated kitchen with everything you need. - great ocean view from balcony CONS: - some minor updates would have been nice, for example for very worn-out living space couch and old toilet seat - at first sight the condo was very clean but some more attention could be paid to dusting corners, decorative items and shower area.

Paradise Found

The unit was well kept and well appointed. It had everything needed for the perfect holiday, even beach chairs, umbrella, snorkelling equipment, body boards, cooler and ice packs. Everything needed to enjoy the beach a quick walk away. If the beach is not your thing, the property has two pools with bbq, fridge and microwave available pool side. The owner Steve is friendly and accommodating, and responds quickly to inquiries. Steve has done everything to provide a fantastic place for a dream holiday.

Barb and I really enjoyed our stay. The Condo had everything we needed for a day at the beach, Road to Hana, etc. Beach's and excellent restaurants were within walking distance. Pools were never crowded and parking was a breeze.

Kitchen renovations make this unit a real dream.

Our family has stayed in many different units at Kihei Akahi since discovering it in 2007. The location is absolutely prime being directly across the street from a perfect beach. Maui pretty much requires a car to visit properly but from this location it would be possible to walk to all amenities and other needs if desired. The opening up of the kitchen to the rest of the living space is such an improvement and the island is the perfect space for food prep. Even though I was solo on this trip I decided to try C510 out rather than my usual studio choice. I did not find any issue with elevator noise and only an occasional time of voices along the walkway after I was in bed (I do tend to retire before 11pm) The kitchen is very well stocked with the right amount of dishes and plenty of glasses. I would have liked a smaller sized frypan and a designated salad bowl with serving utensils would be a good addition. My only complaint was the quality of the internet service. Lots of disconnection times were experienced. The promo listed a new Smart TV with Netflix which I was quite looking forward to but found the Netflix was unable to load with an internet error given. At Steve's suggestion I unplugged the router and reconnected but nothing changed. Not sure why the router and modem are located on the bedroom dresser which is somewhat annoying at night due to its many blinking lights. After several days of continued trying Netflix did load and although the screens were in Spanish I was able to enter my account info and begin choosing a show when suddenly the connection was lost again. I gave up at that point. The lanai is terrific with a very good view of the ocean, boats and whales too! There is a time of day with full sun but there is almost always an area to be partially shaded if desired. I always bring a battery operated candle to have when eating dinner at the lanai table - just for ambiance I guess. Breakfast is always great on the lanai with all the morning bird noises and visitations if you encourage them! The bathroom renovation is also a great improvement over the standard layout and the additional small closet in the bedroom was a great idea. Thanks for including the beach chairs and that they are in excellent condition. Although I did not use there seemed to be a good selection of other beach goodies in the closet. The bed is very comfortable with nice bedding.

We stayed at Steve's condo May 18-25th and are sad to have to leave. The accommodations at the condo are exactly what is needed in a vacation home. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, plastic cups for drinks at the pool...the list goes on. All you need is a stop at Costco for food and drinks and your all set! Beach directly across the street to swim or snorkel and watch the sunset! We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds at Kihei Akahi everything is beautifully manicured and maintained. This is a beautiful condo with a well-furnished kitchen. We loved our stay here. There were only a few negatives, but the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The internet is spotty, so don't plan on going back to watch Netflix in the evenings. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Also the bedroom is directly across the hall from the elevator and you can hear everything through the slatted windows. If you're a light sleeper like I am, you may wake up frequently throughout the night to noise.

Enjoyed this condo, owner Steve is very nice, answered email immediately when we had a minor issue quickly resolved, great beach equipment, well equipped, OK ventilation with fans ( we didn't use the a/c at all) digital lock on door convenient, locking screen door, very nice complex, this condo was very quiet except for some elevator noise in a.m but did not even hear with ear plugs in, good wi-fi, nice view from lanai - would stay here again.

My wife and I live in Sunny California near the base of the Sierra Mountains. We love the mountains but especially love to visit the ocean. We vacationed in Maui a few years ago and absolutely loved it. We decided to invest in a little piece of paradise so that we can come back often and visit this beautiful island. We have 3 kids who like to swim, snorkel and scuba dive so Maui is the perfect place for us.

Why they chose this property

We chose Kihei Akahi because it's affordable and has several amenities that we enjoy. Some of which are Golfing, minutes to the beach, site seeing, hiking, snorkeling and diving, fitness center and gym, as well as shopping and both casual and upscale restaurants.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy being close to great restaurants and shopping. We enjoy the 2 beautiful pools, BBQ areas and the tennis courts. But of course our favorite is the awesome beaches across the street.
