Excellent place

The apartment is fantastic, very good location, close to plenty of restaurants, but still very quiet. AC worked well. Apartment feels very new and everything is clean. Owner was very helpful finding the parking spot. Perfect place for family

Wonderful location, great amenities

The location is easy to all kinds of places. The laundry is super helpful. The kitchenette is just right. Only downside is that the sleeping spaces are open to each other; so you have to be very quiet at night.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, comfortable and spacious apartment. It is very well equipped. It's ideally located in the Old Town. We also want to praise the host Kostas who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He provided some excellent suggestions as to restaurants, beaches and sights. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great Stay in Chania. Thank you for everything, dear Kostas.

It was a great holiday experience for our family of 4. The appartment is located in the city center of Chania and is greatly equipped w comfort you need as travel family, incl parking space&airco. Kostas (father of the owner) is a warm-hearted superhost and helped w simply everything: continuous tips & recommendations, eg pick-up from airport, beach&snorcheling, restaurants,…. Our stay was much to short for all the helpful recommendations 😃👍 therefore, a big thank you, you made our stay a great experience!

Old City Chania

Great location at the edge of the old city. We had fantastic meals and shopping within walking distance from the apartment. The hosts were easy to communicate with and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. A bonus for this property is private off street parking within a few blocks of the property. Our host, Kostas Protopapadakis, helped us transport our luggage to/from the parking garage and the apartment. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to friends and family. Perfect Accomodations in Chania

The apartment was wonderful! It was clean and comfortable and the owner could not have been kinder! He picked us up at the bus station and, during our stay, was always available to answer our questions or to assist in making our stay enjoyable. He gave me a bottle of locally produced olive oil as a souvenir and his wife baked exquisite macarons for us! So kind! Also, the apartment was in a great area — walking distance to everything! We wish we could have stayed longer! Our thanks to Kostas for his hospitality!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Chania

We had a lovely stay at Agora Suites! Kostas provided excellent communication prior to and during our stay, including meeting us at the parking location (which is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) and walking us to the apartment. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, and away from all vehicular traffic. There are restaurants with outdoor dining just outside the door along the pedestrian throughfare. It was an easy walk to the Old Port area with lots of adorable shops and restaurants along the way. The beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. You do have to remember to turn the hot water on before showering, but it heats up quickly and we did not have any problems with enough hot water. The apartment is well equipped in the kitchen and we were able to utilize the washing machine for laundry. Chania is beautiful and this location is a perfect base to explore the town. We would love to go back and stay at Agora Suites again!

Extraordinary!

We walked through the pedestrian-only neighborhood with cobbled streets and small, interesting shops, opened the door, climbed the marble steps, and walked into ... Architectural Digest! Truly one of the most beautiful -- and interesting -- spaces I've ever experienced. Everything worked well, excellent Internet connection, excellent TV package, great blinds, great linens, comfort and pleasure galore. Vangelis and Kostos were perfect hosts, attentive and generous but not intrusive. Most of all we relished the architecture, a fascinating lesson on how to articulate and unify a design of many levels with a subdued but warm color scheme, varied textures, and some witty touches. We could live there forever. Restaurant recommendation: To Maridaki, right around the corner at 33, Daskalogianni Str., Splantzia. Have the fish soup, you'll be happy.

Absolute perfection

Apartment was very clean and modern, right in the heart of Chania. Restaurants and shops are right at your door step. Despite the area been so busy at night the windows of apartment are soundproof so there is no noise coming into apartment. Thank you Kosta for your kindness and hospitality. If I could rate you and Agora Suites above a 10 I would. Kosta is an amazing host. Super friendly and very kind. He was so helpful in giving us directions and recommendations of where to go and where to eat. One of my daughters sprained her ankle and kosta went out of his way to drive us around and making sure we were looked after where ever we went. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Chania look no further. You will have no regrets. I’ve travelled with my daughters around Greece for a month and no other host has been so accommodating kind and friendly. As we didn’t know the area he made sure we had somewhere to go and do every day. Thank you Kosta

Awesome Stay

Communication has been excellent. The manager sent detailed information regarding how to meet, parking, WiFi, and lots of other details before our arrival. The manager is very responsive to questions by text. If you need help or advice with anything, shoot him a text and he will respond quickly. The location is perfect; and the unit is modern, clean, and comfortable. The apartment is located upstairs. There is no elevator; so, if mobility is an issue for you, that may be a consideration. There is extremely limited vehicle traffic in the Old City (mostly in the mornings). In the afternoon/evenings, there is only pedestrian traffic in the old town. By late afternoon/early evening, restaurants start setting up tables and chairs outside. The small “road way” at the entrance to the apartment is filled with people eating dinner. However, it is not noisy in the apartment at all. The other side of the apartment faces the central metro market which is currently closed and undergoing renovation. Having said that, the area has a great many shops where you can get almost anything you need or want. The entire Old Town is very walkable with tons of little cobble stone walkways to explore. The bottom line here is that if you are considering a stay in Chania Old Town and this unit is available, just do it. You will not find a nicer apartment or better location in Old Town. Again, if you see this unit available, book it. Thank you Kostas and Nikki!

No Regrets!

Location location location. Literally steps from the door you are in the heart of old town Chania shops, restaurants and activity. Yet, somehow the apartment remains quiet and calm.Kostas met us at the private garage (a few blocks away) to ensure we found it and walked us to the unit, providing neighborhood info along the way. He introduced us to the restaurant owner across the street where we enjoyed a fine meal, and arranged a sunset fish meal for us another evening. The apartment was immaculately clean, and we appreciated the chance to do a load of laundry.

Wunderschöne Altstadtwohnung

Wir waren 10 Tage in Chania, um von dort aus die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Wohnung ist nicht nur an sich wunderschön (moderne Einrichtung in historischem Gebäude mit großzügigen Räumen), sondern liegt auch optimal, nur wenige Minuten vom venezianischen Hafen entfernt. Obwohl die Gegend belebt ist, bleibt es innen ruhig, und die Klimaanlagen funktionieren gut. Einziges mögliches "Problem" (nicht für uns, aber potenziell): die Räume sind zueinander offen, man kann keine Schlafzimmertür schließen, daher perfekt für Familien mit 2-3 Kindern. Der Gastgeber Kostas ist auch kurzfristig erreichbar, kümmert sich von sich aus um alles, was wichtig sein könnte, z.B. einen Parkplatz für den Mietwagen. Besonders nett war, dass er sogar einen ersten Einkauf für uns gemacht hat, weil wir sehr spät ankamen. Die Macarons seiner Frau Niki waren ein schönes Geschenk! Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen! Danke nochmals an Kostas und seine Familie!

Perfect location

Nikos was an amazing host that met us and immediately helped us find parking which is tricky. The place was in a perfect location and surprisingly quiet despite the busy streets below. The apartment was super clean, modern and spacious for our family of five. I highly recommend!

Lovely apartment in excellent, central location

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and in a perfect location with an excellent choice of reasonably priced restaurants close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would love to return as Crete is a beautiful island with a wonderful history and there are so many more places we would like to visit in Crete. Heart of Chania

We had a wonderful stay at Agora Suites. Centrally located - close to all attractions with restaurants at the doorstep - but at the same time beautifully quiet and peaceful once inside the property. Very good security, beautifully decorated and modern amenities. Our host was very helpful with fabulous communication and local knowledge. I thoroughly recommend Agora Suites!

Charming Agora Suites in Chania

I can’t say enough about the cleanliness, convenience and charm of Agora Suites. We loved staying there and were only sad we hadn’t planned a longer stay in Chania. Most impressive was Kostas, father of the host, who greeted us on arrival and went above and beyond to help us retrieve an item we left in the taxi. Thank you, Kostas, for introducing us to your lovely town. We would certainly come back for a longer stay!

Wonderful Old Town Apartment

Vagelis’ apartment has everything we needed for a 10 day stay...clean as can be, spacious and in the greatest location. Minutes to port, on a street that has some of the best restaurants, no loud nightclub near so quiet for sleeping.. love the balcony overlooking the Old Market-great place to sit and enjoy a coffee or wine. Vagelis father checked us in and even drove us to get our luggage out of rental car, then drove us around to point out some great restaurants. Just lovely. Thanks for renting to us!

Excellent location and superb owner/host

I highly recommend Agora suites! Even though we got in after 11:30 PM, then Vangelis' father saved a parking spot for us, greeted us and told us things about the area and apt. Vangelis checked in on us almost every day to make sure we were having a good time. Everything great about the property except kitchen is tiny. Very hard to cook or make meal in but other than that perfect place!

Great stay.....wonderful owners.

Really enjoyed our stay at Agora Suites. Plenty of space and nice touches like robes and extra towels. The owner was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. The location couldn't have been better right in the heart of things; steps from all the sights. Vangelis was a superb owner. Responded to questions be email very quickly. Nice touches. We were very happy.

Perfektes Appartement im Herzen der Altstadt

Wir waren im September 2016 für fast 3 Wochen in Chania. Neben dem super Wetter hat vor allem die wirklich sehr schöne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit den sehr gastfreundlichen Vermietern dazu beigetragen. Ab dem ersten Tag konnten wir die einzigartige Atmosphäre von Chania genießen, mit Frühstück auf dem Balkon, wenigen Minuten bis zum venezianischen Hafen, und der Markthalle direkt vor der Türe. Abends kann man vor der Haustür in die Altstadgassen eintauchen, und die Vielzahl an kleinen Geschäften sowie der vielen wirklich schönen Tavernas lassen keine Wünsche offen. Man entdeckt auch nach 2 Wochen immer wieder etwas Neues. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, und können das Appartement wirklich empfehlen. Die Familie Protopodakis hat sich ausserdem sehr herzlich um uns gekümmert, so muß Urlaub sein! Nochmal vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder, Walter und Gloria :-)
