Perfect Environment for Entertaining

The property was perfect for a pre-wedding get-together. The outdoor space, the games, and the peacefulness of the country were all exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Charming, rustic farmhouse!

We had two families stay here and it was perfect. The house is actually two separate buildings separated by the breezeway, which worked out great for our setup. Our young boys loved watching the sheep and cows in the pasture right outside the back porch. This place really feels like getting away from it all, but is still less than 30 minutes to Kerrville and Fredricksburg. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway!

Owners anticipated what a family might want and need

We travelled to the property for the solar eclipse, and the owners went above and beyond with a little snack pack of outer-space-themed treats. They did a good job of anticipating that a family who intended to cook would need things like salt, sugar, and dishwashing detergent. The game room was packed with games for the kids to play, enough that they didn't complain (too much) about the lack of a TV. It's remote, but not more than 25 minutes from Fredericksburg and other small towns. Our city kids enjoyed being around real farm animals. Overall, quite a good trip.
