Skis and Seas Vacation Rentals
Wife and I loved the condo and its amenities. It was perfect for us except, one too many codes to remember. The taxes are also ridiculous, but it would not stop us from returning.
This unit has a fantastic view and is very comfortable, bright and oh so efficient! There are hooks and hooks and more hooks to hang your beach items, hats, clothes and backpacks. There are baskets to store your toiletries and 3 different units to store all your gear. We weee very pleased and can’t wait to return!
We were really looking forward to a peaceful getaway, but unfortunately, our stay was disrupted by unexpected construction on the property—something we weren’t informed about before our arrival. The constant noise and presence of workers made it difficult to relax or enjoy the outdoor space.What made the situation even more frustrating was how the host handled it. When I reached out to express my concerns, the response came off as dismissive and didn’t seem to genuinely address the issue. A simple heads-up beforehand or even offering a discount would’ve shown some thoughtfulness. At the very least, a more considerate response when the issue was raised would have helped. Eventually, we were offered a small discount, but it didn’t quite make up for the experience.The property itself matched the description, and under better circumstances, it likely would have been an enjoyable stay. However, clear communication and transparency are essential—and in this case, both were lacking. I’d recommend confirming with the host about any ongoing construction before booking

We’re always open to guest feedback, but it's important to provide some clarity here. Our listing clearly states that the building is undergoing exterior maintenance. This includes painting and, at times, balcony work like drilling—but it is done in phases. At the time of this guest’s stay, their stack was not being worked on.
We’ve also adjusted our pricing to fairly reflect any potential inconvenience, and many other guests have had positive experiences during this period, with several even extending their stays. While there was construction at the complex, there was no construction on her specific unit.
This guest reached out during their stay and we responded promptly. Though the unit wasn’t directly impacted, we still extended a courtesy gesture—which is not something we normally do. Guest had a good time, did not want to leave, yet wanted a huge refund.
We take pride in being transparent, responsive, and providing quality stays—and we encourage future guests to read our listing carefully and reach out with any questions before booking.
