We strive to make our guests feel comfortable, and appreciated.
It is always good to have our guests acknowledge that their stay with us was a pleasurable experience.
We enjoyed our weekend stay in Shreveport visiting with family in this lovely home. This home was generously stocked with all the things to make you feel at home including K-cups! Perfect location and close to everything. Gene was quick to respond/communicate everything we needed to know and we had no problems at all. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and comfortable, and the owners were kind and responsive. We loved having our morning coffee on the front porch and enjoyed the calm neighborhood. We will definitely stay here next time we're back.
Beautiful, spacious property, perfect for our family of 6 adults. Kitchen is updated and well appointed, beck deck with grills was perfect for our evening cookouts. Bedrooms were wonderful, with lots of room, drawer and closet space. Convenient to the places we needed to be! Would definitely recommend this beautiful home!
We had an excellent stay here. The house was great, and Gene was very responsive. We had a minor issue with an outside window shutter. I contacted Gene and he had a repair crew at the property within an hour.
We had a wonderful stay in this historic house. It was close to all the Highland Mardi-Gras parades. We had family stop by and visit, they were all very impressed with how great the house was updated and remodeled. We would highly recommend anyone to stay in this Beautyful historic home.
This home is the most beautiful on its street. The lovely interior has been redone by an interior decorator, which is evident everywhere you look. The property owner is very informative and a joy to communicate with.
Lovely, well-appointed historic home with all the conveniences of home. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs so just be aware if anyone suffers from knee issues. Modern appliances and central air conditioning made for a comfortable stay. Host was accessible and responsive. Definitely will recommend for friends & family. DELIGHTFUL!
This was a nice older home that had been renovated. Very nice inside lots of space. Beds were nice and comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms very nice and clean. AC had a little hard time keeping up for the upstairs rooms, but it is summer and heat does rise. We did get it adjusted better. The neighborhood was a little sketchy on one end and the other end was nice big homes. We did not have any troubles. I would stay again. thank you very much
Old Victorian house completely renovated. Super clean. Spacious! Loved having coffee on the porch. Beds were very comfortable. Looks like everything was brand new. We will be back!
Definitely a SUPERhost*** I’ve stayed in my share of VRBO’s and I have to say this one is at the top of my list! First I have to say the history of the house made our stay extra neat:) It was the perfect temporary home for my family & I. Checkin/checkout was a breeze.. Superclean and the host made sure you didn’t go without any of your everyday necessities. Communication was easy peasy and was always available. Hope to book again next year when we return!

We were plenty surprised and thrilled with the house. Amazing staging, impressive internal period preserved details. The kitchen was outstanding. The coffee bar was on point. Love the fact you had “to go” cups. Excellent for the travelers that stay.I appreciated it appeared you were still working on upgrades and you have to go, almost room to room, to get it all done. Keep up that work!!Things that we looked for but didn’t find, and would have been nice to have…wisk in the kitchen, dish cloths, and baking casserole dishes. Suggestion's…it would be nice to have a list of places to eat nearby or at least a mileage of how far, I assume the upstairs bathroom is not quite finished being remodeled but until then, aesthetically, the shower caddy needs to be replaced with one that is not rusted. Finally, we found a broken wine glass in the cupboard. It had a chunk of glass gone. We set it out on the kitchen counter as I wanted the cleaners to see it and then throw it away. Overall, great stay in a great place. Thank you!!!
