About this property
My Nook Lisbon - Paradise In Lisboa
The space
It’s a one-bedroom apartment, on a second (and top) floor of a typical neighbourhood (website hidden) has a living/dining room with a sofa bed and a small balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, and a closet.
Note: please take in consideration that the apartment is on the second floor and that the building has no lift.
Free internet wi-fi; tv with satellite channels
The neighborhood
Our apartment is located in lisbon's exclusive alvalade district.
This district integrates mainly two or three floor buildings, mostly built in the 1950’s, with little gardens or green spaces in the front. On the area of architecture and urbanism, this district is a case study.
Very peaceful residential neighbourhood, where three generations mix: the first inhabitants who went to live there in the 1950’s, the families with kids and the university students. It has a truly neighbourhood feel. Side by side with these residential streets, you have the crossroad of two of the best commercial avenues in lisboa: avenida da igreja and avenida de roma.
Specially in avenida da igreja (two minutes away from the apartment) you have lots of traditional shops: that’s one of the reasons why it is called one of the last open air “shopping centres” in lisboa!
Here you will find a large choice of restaurants, with portuguese and international cuisine, for all budgets, where families gather at weekends.
It’s also an area of lively coffee shops.
The district where all the “lisboetas” dream to live!
