This cabin was our favorite stay in our 11 day trip. We loved the setting next to a glacier creek,in the mountains away from the crowds. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. After a long day of travel, bringing dinner in the first night and sitting on the deck enjoying the view was incredible. Shy was above and beyond helpful with making our plans in the area and even giving us a ride on her 4 wheeler. The best host we've ever encountered . We truly wanted to stay an extra night.

Shy was extremely amenable to our group for our stay. She’s got two kids who were quick to befriend my toddlers and even offered to share all of their toys. Couldn’t ask to meet a friendlier or warmer family than hers. Her dog was a big friendly greeter to our pup as well, and the whole thing was such an awesome experience. The place was extremely comfortable and very clean. We can’t wait to rent from her again. Simply put; I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re looking for somewhere that has the feel of a remote getaway while still being conveniently located near trails, skiing, hiking, and dining, I’d highly recommend securing this location for your visit. THE VIEWS… well you’ll just have to see it!

This was a STELLAR experience! The views are breathtaking. The host Shy was an absolute delight! She was extremely responsive and we loved meeting her when we arrived! She even offered to show us the close waterfall! The house was very spacious and felt just like home! We enjoyed the large sectional for movie night and the deck off the main room where we enjoyed coffee with complete surrounding of the serene mountains! There were many hikes near the property including the Iditarod trail! What a cool experience!! We did take the hike with the hand tram which was unfortunately out of operation at the time but the water was so blue and beautiful regardless! We will definitely be back and stay here again!!

Double check your booking with this host!

The host double booked our reservation and I was the unfortunate party that was affected. I was informed of this at 11pm the evening prior to our arrival. It completely derailed our plans. The host did offer her personal home to use but it was not conducive to the needs of my party. The host also did convey a sincere apology and refunded me the entire cost. I would recommend checking in with this host to make sure your booked ahead of time.
