Great space for concert stay

My group of friends enjoyed our stay at this property for a concert in downtown Chicago. Oba was extremely communicative before, during and after our stay. Transportation via rideshare was easy (minus rush hour traffic). Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here over the last part of Holy Week. It was a fantastic experience. The property is updated and lovely, there is plenty of room, and communication with the owner was flawless.

The owner of the home was accomodating and offered us advice and suggestions of where to eat and things to do. The home was clean. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and in walking distance to the train.

Clean inside, train is a little noisy. The furnace or AC unit will kick on randomly and it sounds like a gnome is hammering in the closet. Other than that, all good. Street parking is a little worrisome.

Esther went above and beyond

Property is very clean and beautiful. Great communication with owner. After we returned home my 19 yr old son realized he left his AirPods in the nightstand drawer and Esther mailed them to me! Several in my group mentioned that they didn’t feel super safe in the neighborhood but Esther’s home could not have been nicer! Thanks for a great stay!

Our family of seven had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful and inviting brownstone just minutes from downtown Chicago. The home was spotless when we arrived and immediately felt warm and welcoming. With spacious rooms and plenty of bathrooms, it fit our big crew (five kids and two adults!) perfectly, everyone had their own space to relax. We loved how easy it was to hop on the highway to Chinatown, one of our favorite spots to hang out and explore. The location really gave us the best of both worlds: close to the city’s attractions but in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was amazing, always in touch, kind, and responsive. It truly felt like they cared about making our stay perfect. What made it special was how at home we felt the entire time. We left already talking about when we could come back! Highly recommend this place for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of home in Chicago.

When we arrived we had a problem with getting the key out the lock box. The property manager Esther immediately answered the phone to help us. Once we got inside everything looked just like the pics online. It was nice and clean and welled described.

Great stay for a great price.

Oba was very communicative and responsive to questions and we loved the recommendations for food in the area. While others have noted that this isn't the best neighborhood we were never disturbed and its closeness to the Pink Line to get downtown was super convenient. We had a larger group and all of the beds and linens were adequate, and we appreciated all the labels around the unit to make things easy to find.I think my only note - you need better photos! Rooms were much more spacious than pictured, which was a pleasant surprise.

The property is so nice and comfy. The host was great with communication and pleasant. The neighborhood can seem a bit sketchy but we felt so safe. The gate in front of the property has a lock before entering onto the property. The place had everything you need to complimentary ear plugs and girl essentials! It is not close to downtown as I thought, everything was a 35-40 min drive so ubering back and forth was extremely expensive. Majority of things to do is in downtown Chicago so consider that. Train station is near by the reduce the money or traveling but got to consider the arrival times you would get to your destination.

Beautiful home

The home was Beautiful, clean, comfortable. Communication was not great and very automated. The neighborhood is said to be quiet but during the day you could easily hear loud music/base that shook windows. Drivers for Uber said it’s not a “safe” part of Chicago. We had no issues, but something to be aware of. We didn’t feel 100% comfortable using the train stated in walking distance after speaking with Uber drivers. Overall, the stay was great. Just be prepared to drive yourself into town or pay a boat load for Ubers. Lastly, the AC is very loud. If you want a comfortable cool stay, be ready to hear it.

As for the neighborhood, it is safe and lively, and there are 3 police stations within a mile radius. Though we understand perceptions can differ, especially for those not familiar with the area or relying on outdated information. Lastly, it’s unfortunate you didn’t utilize the train, which provides a faster option for getting into the city compared to driving.
