Welcome to our historic estate, set on 5 serene acres with stunning views of the Hudson River. The house boasts 5 large bedrooms, a newly remodeled kitchen, SAUNA!, jacuzzi bath tub, playroom with pool table! majestic chandeliers, and gold trim. Relax and take in the beautiful sunsets and spectacular views from the large deck equipped with comfortable patio furniture. We invite you to experience the beauty and tranquility of this historic property with its original charm and character.
The space
The property is set on five private acres overlooking the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. The house has a newly remodeled kitchen completed in 2023. The downstairs bathroom has a large jacuzzi and two showers. John Adam's great-granddaughter once lived here. Note that the pool appearing on the cover is the neighbor's pool, not available under this listing.

You will have access to all parts of the house, except the basement and attic.

Incredible spot for a family gathering! The kids had great fun in the play room, the adults got to play pool, and everyone enjoyed watching sunset over the river! Very friendly and flexible hosts too!

We had a great stay for wedding weekend! Short walk (about 1 mile to Main Street Beacon) and nearby many nice hikes, restaurants, breweries, etc. Very kid-friendly with ping pong, large yard for games, pool table, and other activities to keep everyone busy! Large rooms! We loved hanging out on the deck looking at the spectacular view! The owners were very nice and easy to work with!

Loved it

We loved staying at Dan and Maddy's home in Beacon! The house is funky and unique, and made for a great group getaway with easy access to main street and hiking trails. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone with a large group looking for a fun weekend in Beacon!

Family birthday weekend with an amazing view!

We booked a weekend away to celebrate family birthdays and were very happy to celebrate in such a special place. There was plenty of room for 11 of us (+ dog) and was a mix of modern touches and old world charm highlighting the legacy of the house. And the view of the Hudson was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely house with beautiful backdrop

This house was beautiful and perfect for a weekend with friends. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and we enjoyed the scenic view from the back deck all weekend. Dan was very responsive from start to finish and we did not encounter any problems throughout our stay. I would highly recommend!

Great house and great host!

This house is exactly as listed. Huge with historic details and modern amenities. We had 11 woman and were so comfortable. We actually had two extra single beds. The views are amazing! The house is walking distance to the train station. You could walk to town but it is a little farther. We did not because it was a rainy weekend. The host were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a group of 12 for a West Point graduation. The space was big enough for everyone to spread out, the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool table and ping pong tables were a hit!Our host was fantastic, reached out to ensure we were able to get in and had what we needed. Also very responsive, probably one of our best experiences with a host. We used the grill, but cautiously as the legs were not very sturdy. It could use to be repaired or replaced.

We had a great stay. Thank you! Two things to be aware of. I bought a plastic traction mat for the upstairs bathroom at the end of the hall. The surface of the tub is slippery and the height if the tub above the floor makes entry and exit treacherous without secure footing in the tub. I strongly advise you to leave the mat in place. Also, although we made a conscious effort to keep food and crumbs closed and cleared, there were ants. That isn’t surprising this time of year, but you probably want to address it before it gets worse.
