This 150 year old home is a special place to visit. This listing is specifically for the in-law suite on the west side of the main home. It includes all the amenities you need with fast Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, spacious bathroom and your own private king size bed. Not to mention 30 acres and privacy to spare including a private pond, dock, and fire pit. Warm and Inviting

Very clean, comfortable bed, great communication and easy access. Few suggestions would be add a lamp to the living room and rugs in bathroom and kitchen. Also a window covering in kitchen. These would provide a more homey feel. We would stay there again!!

This property is a dream between the open spaces of lush grass, the privacy of the forest, and the serenity of the pond. Though many stop in Roanoke Rapids, NC because of it's location along road trips up and down the east coast, this property just might call to you to come and stay awhile; relax, unwind and reconnect with nature and good company.

What makes this property unique

This property literally has 30 acres that are private. 20 acres of it are forest. The main part of the home itself is 150 years old, with most of it's lumber, framework and hardwood floors made from the lumbermill that began on this very property, but closed many years ago. There are still a few remnants of evidence of the mill near the pins on the east side.
