Kick back and relax in this stylish home in a peaceful cove right off the main lake. Enjoy the sunset from the deck, paved patio with fire pit, or upper deck of the boat dock. In a location that is close to all things Lake Gaston (on and off the water). Just a 4 minute drive from gas station/convenience store, 6 minutes away from Jennie Cakes, and 8 minutes away from the Food Lion and local restaurants, this house offers the best of convenience, comfort, and water fun all together!

This home (remodeled in 2015) is a three bedroom, two bathroom home with an incredible view. The home offers one master bedroom with a king bed and master bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms, both with a queen bed with shared guest bath. There is also a Murphy bed in the living room. Relax and enjoy the deck, paved patio with firepit, and wonderful water views. There are string lights around the patio for a lovely evening experience. The path between the patio and the water is paved, and it is easy to enter the water by walking down 3 stairs. This side of lake Gaston is sandier than the other side (which tends to be more muddy), and in this peaceful cove, you and your family/ friends can float around or fish without worry of high boat traffic. Pets are welcome (pet fee applies).

Bring your boat or jet ski. No bridges to the main lake, making it easy to access all the fun of Lake Gaston. This property comes with a boat dock available for your use. Note that this house is towards the back of a cove, so a slow approach is needed to get into our boat slip. Take the kayak out for a paddle and enjoy the beautiful lake. There is a gravel parking space for your boat trailer on the property, and we are 3 minutes away from the nearest community boat ramp. You can enjoy yard games (available upon request ahead of time — I am happy to provide what you would like if I have it, or to purchase if a common request with sufficient notice) on the side lawn next to the house.

The home is situated just 4 miles from Food Lion, ABC Liquors, Lake Life Clothing, Jet ski Rental, AF Wake, and more. Also 4 miles away you can find The Pointe Restaurant as well as Watersview Restaurant. Located half mile from Henrico boat ramp! Enjoy a quick trip to Rosemont Winery just 20 min away. 4 miles from Lake Gaston Golf Club.

Tranquility on the lake

Wonderful cottage tucked away in a cove off of the main lake. Stocked with all of the things you need while you’re away from home. We throughly enjoyed the property and all of the amenities. If you are looking for the perfect weekend away with your family, friends and furry companion this is the place for you. Katie was a wonderful host and very responsive. Our week was perfect and we look forward to coming back.

Great Getaway

Location is very quiet. Lots of great spaces to sit out and relax. The unit was well supplied with amenities. We did no cooking on site. Place was well lit at night which was nice as most days we were not back until after dark. Our poodle was perfectly comfortable during his stay. Great to have a dog friendly place to stay.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is very relaxed and down to earth. It is convenient to the grocery store (huge at the lake), Lake Gaston pizza, Gus's, Jennie Cakes on the Lake, Wakeboard Willies, and the Lake Gaston Coffee Company (my personal favorite).

What makes this property unique

This house is stylish without being too big or pretentious. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. And the view from the kitchen/ dining area is amazing!
