Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay and so did our fur babies. The home is beautiful and clean and offered every thing we needed for our weekend stay including toys for the dogs. The pool was amazing and being heated was the perfect temperature. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Tide’s Away summer vacay

My family of five adults along with my 1 and 1/2 year old grandson had a wonderful stay at this property. We enjoyed the house but really enjoyed the yard and pool. It was close to the bay and only a few minutes ride to the beach and the Square shopping area.

My family and I had the best experience staying at Tides Away. It was convenient to nearby beaches as well as the Wildwood boardwalk. My two grandsons ages 3 and 5 had a blast. They loved the heated pool and fire pit (they made smores) and the grownups enjoyed the hot tub. Fenced yard was great for my dog. House was clean and had everything you would need. Having a Washer /dryer was very convenient. Our host, Anthony, addressed any concerns or requests we had immediately. All texts were returned within 10 minutes. We would recommend this rental to our friends and family. We all had a Great time!

GREAT stay. House was incredible. The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. Great location! The pool was the best part. The owner was VERY responsive and onsite if needed. Great to interact with. One of the best South Jersey shore rentals in a long time!!

Great Get-away

While we didn’t have very good weather, the house and property were lovely. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner made sure the pool was in good shape for us after some terrible weather our first couple of days.

Spectacular!

Our Tides Away stay was all we expected and more. The home is perfect for a relaxing vacation and has all amenities one could want. Access to the ocean and bay are very convenient and the pool is absolutely spectacular. Our pup loved exploring the back yard and sunning herself. And I personally love outdoor showers. Local restaurants provided excellent meals both for pickup and delivery and the local market is a treasure. All said - a wonderful time was had by all!

Great stay and walk to bay daily for sunsets

Loved the property and how close it was to the bay for morning walks and evening stroll and watching the sunsets. Wished it had ceiling fans or room fans. Had to go out and buy a couple for the rooms. Also no blankets or comforters in closets. Would stay again just during summer to enjoy the pool a bit more.

Cape May dream!

This is one of the BEST Vrbo’s we have stayed at! Everything from the home, decor, clean as can be, comfiest beds, the pool and backyard OMG amazing the privacy trees around the backyard you literally felt like it was your own island spot! I cant express enough how wonderful this home is! Perfect for my family of 4 (1 teen and 1 tween) and my pups there was a spot for everyone! It comes fully equipped with everything we needed! We love Cape May - we try to come every summer even if its for a few days before school starts - we have 2 very happy kids going to school tomorrow! And 2 very relaxed parents ready for the chaos to begin. We will DEF be back!!

Great house, great pool, great location

We spent the last week of August here and had a wonderful vacation. The house was exactly as shown, everything we could want in a beach house. Anthony was very helpful - he came by the first day and talked about the pool and the bayside beaches. As it was late in the summer, there had already been some cool nights, dropping the pool temp. We used the thermal cover every night and the pool stayed very comfortable without the need of heat. The beds were comfortable, there were ample pillows, and the bathrooms were spotless. We loved the fact that we could bring our dogs with us. The fully fenced back yard was great. The house is close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely rent this house again when back in the Cape May area.

Comfortable Stay with Some Caveats

We recently stayed at this house and overall, our experience was positive. The cleanliness of the house was remarkable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was also well-maintained and stocked with essentials. Communication with the owner was excellent; they were prompt in responding to our inquiries throughout our stay. However, there were a couple of issues that detracted from our experience. Firstly, although the website advertised a heated pool, we found the water temperature to be quite cold. Despite expressing our concerns to the owner, we received responses suggesting that the external weather conditions were to blame. While we understand the impact of weather on pool temperature, we were disappointed by the dismissive attitude towards our concerns, especially by the person sent to check on the pool. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection in the house was unstable, making it difficult for us to work or even watching TV. I found a place in town to connect to my meetings as it was impossible to have video-calls using the house Wifi. Lastly, we found the bedding to be inadequate for cooler seasons. The blankets provided were suitable only for warmer weather, so we recommend either requesting additional blankets or bringing your own if visiting during spring or other non-summer seasons. Despite these shortcomings, our children enjoyed their time in the pool despite the chilly water, demonstrating their resilience.

Thank you for your feedback. A few things: We opened our pool early this season to accommodate your family. The weather conditions during your stay were less than ideal to swim in a pool since there were several days of rain, cold and wind. It's in our listing we heat the pool to 86 degrees at no additional cost. We did increase the temperature at no additional cost to 91 degrees immediately after you contacted us. On April 4th I emailed you to ask how everything was going with your stay; no response from you. No mention you needed additional blankets (we certainly could have run some over). No mention of Wifi not working. Guests who stayed after you said it worked fine and it works fine to this day. We are not sure why you feel we had a dismissive attitude when we immediately took care of the pool temp. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the house and the pool. We certainly did not deserve a 3 star review when coming to swim in even a heated pool is close to impossible in March with weather conditions out of our control.
