My buddies and I spent the weekend at the Honeycomb Home and absolutely loved it. It’s close enough to Kalamazoo to enjoy some nightlife but remote enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The owner was very attentive and the home had everything we needed. We definitely recommend this rental and we will be back!

Fantastic location for a cabin getaway. Plenty of room, area was clean, and all of the basement games were fun and functional! Outdoor area had plenty of room to play games and more than enough firewood for our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a weekend getaway!
Very Uniquely shaped house. Nice finishes and decor. The Gameroom downstairs came in handy for Winter stays, and the fireplace added welcome ambience.

John, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. It truly means a lot to know HoneyComb Home was part of such a special Christmas with your nieces and nephew. We’re grateful you noticed the care and intention we put into the space—it’s exactly why we do this.
You and Rob were wonderful guests, and we really appreciate the respect and care you showed our home. We’d absolutely welcome you back anytime and would love to host you again next year to help create even more memories. Wishing you both all the best, and thank you again for choosing HoneyComb Home.
Friends having a reunion from WMU - perfect location to visit WMU and have a wonderful place to return to. We all had our own space but also had two places to hang out with each other. We really enjoyed the house, and all its comforts it had to offer.
This was a beautiful property and home. Everything was clean and all the little "extras" were provided. Thoughtfulness of bathroom supplies, bug repellent, activities, and kitchen adequately stocked. All of the large beds, linens, and pillows were very comfortable. The twins were ok for kids, not as much for adults. We loved the space for gathering our family for my dads wedding celebration. We didnt explore the area much, but the space was close to everything we needed and exceptionally comfortable.
We used the Honey Comb Home while we visited colleges in Southern Michigan. The game room and outdoor space were a great place for the teenagers to burn energy off and watch the NCAA Tournament at night. There is a definite cabin feeling but it is in great shape and excellent value.
I loved the proximity to civilization and how private the property felt. The wooded setting was beautiful. I would have preferred a king bed in the master, and a second main floor shower. The home was lovely and exceeded every other expectation I had.
Clean and Welcoming, just watch the bottom step. The home was the perfect size for our group of 10. We had a tree fall down during our stay and the owners were super responsive and kind. Would stay again if we are ever in Michigan again since it was very close to a lot of our family.
Great location for family wedding weekend in Paw Paw. We were responsible for flowers for the venue and had plenty of space to work at the large dining table. Family members could relax together at this "home base." Thank you.
Lots of nice features as described. Very secluded property but close to local attractions. Host was very responsive to our concerns. Adjusting to well water was a challenge for us city folks.
Family Vacation weekend at HoneyComb Heart of Wine Country sleeps 10 home.
We had a great time with our family for the weekend. The house was very nicely set up and they had practically everything you needed. The game room downstairs was nice with games and a couch and tv plus more. Along with the 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Outdoors was awesome too with a beautiful deck and obstacle course with a zip line etc. Big area for a bonfire also. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Very easy to communicate with. Stay here if you are looking for a wonderful home to stay in with your family or friends!

Thank you so much, Brenda! We're thrilled to hear your family had such a great time and enjoyed all the spaces—from the game room to the zip line and bonfire area. You were a joy to host, and our cleaning service even mentioned the home looked nearly untouched after your stay—so clean and respectful! Truly 5-star guests. We'd welcome you back anytime!
We celebrated our family Christmas weekend here at honeycomb! Everything about the place was amazing! Very clean, comfy beds, lots of towels and the most stocked I have ever seen from a VRBO. The kids and grandpa loved the arcade type games, the board games were a huge hit as well as the toys they had. My kids are not huge winter outdoor kids but because of the yard and Ninja course they were outside most of the day for two days straight! Thank you for such.a fun time and it maybe come a family tradition!

About the host
Hosted by Ryan Lawrence
I grew up in the Chicagoland area. I have two siblings, with whom I am very close with. I purchased my first house at 22 years old with my twin. This inspired an interest in real estate. I later became a Home Inspector at 24 years old. Which led up to my investment property. I'm a family man with two wonderful kids. I take pleasure in helping people with the process of purchasing their dream home and being a loving father and husband to my wife. I enjoy architecture, real estate, and nature. I am passionate with organization and cleanliness which led me to become a great host for the Honeycomb Home. Having the opportunity to allow others to enjoy a homestead family-orientated area away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life can be so rewarding.
Why they chose this property
It's like being tucked away in a cabin in the woods. You wake up and might catch deer running across the driveway while having your cup of coffee, yet your local shopping is about 5 minutes away. The tranquility of the stream as you stare out the windows just takes your mind to another place.
What makes this property unique
Well, the house is in the shape of an octagon! On a unique landscape with hills and a stream running across the southern exposure adjacent to a school forest. You can see this from the aerial photos!
