We truly enjoyed staying at this beautiful and clean beachfront property! We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor deck and backyard complete with a playscape that our children loved. This house was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful week of vacation, including tons of beach toys! Looking forward to another adventure here!

Thank you so much for your kind words. You were wonderful to work with and we truly enjoyed having you stay with us.
Hope to see you back in 2026
Wishing you the best!
This property really is amazing. It has everything you need in the kitchen. Even though you do have to supply your linens, bath towels and beach towels, they do provide all the hand towels/wash-clothes for the bathroom and kitchen as well as the pillows and blankets. We had quite a hot week and the stretch of beach is wonderful as well as all the toys, outdoor supplies you would need. Ryan was very communicative and really made sure we had the best stay. There is a King room, Queen room and two rooms that have twin over full bunk beds, a trundle, a couch bed and two roll away beds. So there is a place for everyone. Thanks for a wonderful vacation before we head off to England for a few years.

Great location &Home The host are great This lovely beach house
We stayed at this property for 7 days we had a great time in the house and on the beach the property did not include a liner for beds this Wass a little issue
Perfect house in the perfect location. The lake was right off the backyard. Beautiful sandy beach for the kids to play on and the water was shallow enough for the little ones to enjoy. The house was set up so great and everything was labled. One of the best VRBO's we have ever rented. You will NOT be disappointed!

Thank you so much for your kind words.
You and your family were absolutely fantastic to work with. The house was left better than when you checked in which is really appreciated!
I sincerely hope we see you again in the future.
The property on the lake was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures when booking didn’t do it justice. Everything we needed was furnished. We certainly appreciated all games/outdoor toys to keep the little ones entertained. A great place for our family getaway. The owner, Ryan, couldn’t have been a nicer, more accommodating person. I would certainly recommend this rental to anyone.

Thank you very much for your kind words! Your family was wonderful to work with. I hope we see you again next year-summer 2023.
The best part of this stay for us was the private large sandy Beach with kayaks, sand toys, and swimmable lake for our 3- and 6-year-old. It's really great for them to just go out there and play instead of packing into the car and driving to a beach. The house itself is spacious, airy, and well-equipped with plenty of deck and patio space and 2 fire pits.

Perfect for our family!
We had such a wonderful weeks stay at this property. The large yard with swingset and sandy beach was perfect for our children ages 1-7. The beach is combed and has a fire pit for evenings. The water is also shallow quite a ways out which was nice for the younger kids to enjoy. The house had everything you would need to be comfortable. It’s also just a few minutes from the town of Caseville and the family fun center that has go karts, putt putt, a big slide, bumper boats, ice cream, and more. The location couldn’t be more perfect.
My husband and I grew up in the thumb of Michigan and visited many cabins while we were growing up and this is by far the nicest property that we have stayed at. Mature trees, green grass, sandy beach, and all of the comforts of home. We will definitely stay here again!
Everything as stated on the rental website. Ryan was very helpful and responds well. You have to bring your own bedding but bathroom towels and kitchen towels are available at the home. This house has a very nice sandy beach for the kids to play on but just to let you know the water is rocky until you get to the first sandbar . So bring water shoes for those it will bother. The rocks cld move by next year to a different part of Huron. Great space for the whole family and I wld definitely rent this place again.

Superb Practical Luxury
My friend and I stayed here for an extended weekend with some friends. The house is spacious and has gorgeous views of the lake from the first and second floor. The home has everything you need. washer/dryer, refridge, dishwasher, stove/oven. I loved the separate bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen blends into the dinning and family room for one big great-room gathering place.
The decor is practical and comfortable but not so extravagant that your afraid you'll soil the couch if you sit on it. The beds are comfy and clean. The place is well attended to and maintained and the property owner is invested and particular about keeping it nice and clean.
We spent most of our time around the spacious kitchen island laughing, drinking and eating. The kitchen table is huge and can seat everyone including guests. It really is a great getaway place to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
The spacious exterior deck overlooks the beach. The owner maintains the beach area as well as can be expected for this stretch of the coastline. The owner tries to keep the beach area combed, clean and free from debris and reeds. You can even fire up a campfire on the beach in the evening.
It's not a hotel so don't expect daily maid service. We were able to clean our bedding and clothes conveniently before we left in the included washer/dryer. The neighboring houses are decent and we never had a problem with unruly or loud neighbors.
There is a quaint small town nearby with facilities for groceries, bars and local eateries. While there was no provided WiFi or internet connectivity at the home, I found that to be a plus. It prevents distractions so you can enjoy the companionship of the people around you. We took several leisurely walks down the beach to enjoy the view. The lake is so large you feel like you're on the ocean.
There is a second-floor bonus den-balcony area where young kids or exhausted adults can rest, read or watch TV separately from the commotion of the main kitchen/dining/activity room. From this indoor balcony perch large enough to seat 10+, occupants, you can score some privacy "me-time" but still feel "connected" to the sounds/sights of others mingling in the kitchen or family room below.
There's enough parking for perhaps 6-8 vehicles. If you're looking for a great get-a-way on the tip of the thumb in Michigan, definitely consider this place.

We are so glad you enjoyed the property. I hope to see you and your family again summer 2015!!
Most enjoyable week with a beautiful sandy beach, a 5 star home to stay at and Our host Ryan was in contact with us several times throughout the week to insure our stay was perfect in every way! Thanks Ryan!
We drove up from downstate and our one son also did, though the other one came in from California. So three families., two with young kids. it was just priceless to see their faces when they walked into the house and could see right down to the water from the front door, and then the swingset, extra wow!
The house was very comfortable and close to everything in Caseville.
I guess if you are not familiar with this lake, as I guess I was not very much, it is not an inland lake obviously, so it can be a little rough with storms dropping in. Like for example, we thought we would go kayaking several of the days, but there really was only one come morning that the lake was calm and we weren’t able to get out to do it at that precise moment.
also, the instructions were very clear that you had to bring all of your own bed linens, bath towels and beach towels, and it seemed doable at the time. But when it really came down to it, it was actually a lot of work for us to coordinate the different sizes of beds and linens that we needed and who would bring it, especially with the people coming in from out of state, and then the car is got very full with towels and linens on top of everything else that we were bringing. For the price of this property, which to us is a little bit on the high side, I I think the lack of a linen service is a dealbreaker for me to rent in the future. I do understand the owner’s reason though, and it’s unfortunate, because I think people have taken advantage when the service was offered in the past, and that just ruins it for the rest of us.
Again, I want to say this is a BEAUTIFUL property and a wonderful owner!
The home is very nice. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are magnificent. Close to Caseville if you need anything. Swing set and slide for the kids. Part of the beach is shaded for some of the day which was nice.
Our family has been vacationing in Caseville, Michigan for the last 19 years. It is a special place that holds so much sentimental value for us (our parents and our parent’s parents all lived/vacationed and started their own families in the Michigan Thumb.). We have rented many cottages over the years, but of all the fine homes, this one was the absolute best.
This house had everything….clean, upgraded appliances, perfectly outfitted kitchen, comfortable beds, incredible location with a private beach that included a swing set for the kids, paddle board/kayaks for the teens and adults and the most amazing sunsets!
And Ryan was wonderful to work with. If there was something missing, and there wasn’t, I am sure that he would have made it happen.
We will be back next year!
The property is well maintained and was a very good size to meet the needs of our family. Ryan was excellent to work with: very friendly and prompt with responses to questions, etc.
My family loved this house and property!! We really enjoyed the sandy beach during the day and bonfires at night. My children thoroughly enjoyed the swingset and as well as the sandy beach. The whole family enjoyed how shallow the lake was and swimming in the waves.. We appreciated the well lit walkway from the deck to the beach. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us. Ryan was VERY attentive to all of our needs and questions through the entire process. This is the best place we have stayed at in Caseville. We will definitely be back next year!!!! Thank you Ryan for everything!!!!
Sincerely,
Dave and family

David,
It was wonderful being able to accomodate you and your family. Your are the exact clients all property owners would want to have!
Thank you for booking with us again summer 2021. We will do everything to "up our game" next year once more!
This property’s best feature is the beach, just perfect for the little kids. No deeper than 4 ft far from the shore, nice fire pit. The house was as described, a little smaller than I thought but had tons of little extras like a Fully stocked Kitchen! Great for group dinners, a lot of silverware and serving ware. All we needed was sharp peeler and knife, he had everything else. They also had tons of sand toys and things for the kiddos to play if the weather didn’t corporate. But we couldn’t have been luckier in that department. Would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks ryan.
As a multigenerational family group we could not have had a better experience. The property was lovely, scrupulously clean, well-equipped and in a location close to town but away from the hubbub of the Independence Day weekend.
I’d like to make a special mention of the property owner, Ryan Pike. Ryan was organized, professional, courteous and just generally a stand up guy. I’m very much looking forward to working with him next year and in the years to come.
We had family and friends come up to this beachouse, ages 10 to 70. Everyone absolutely loved their time. The bedrooms are very spacious, something usually not found in rentals! Kitchen fully stocked. Dont brother bringing plastic utensils, they have bins with TONS of forks, knives and spoons and then run them through dishwasher. Same with plates, and cups. Firepit on beach was the icing on cake, adults sat around fire as kids played in water during evenings. We had the most amazing sunsets with no obsctutions of view to the horizon!! Ryan was great during process and easily available. Definently would recommend!!
We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful the beach was perfect. Ryan was an outstanding host, he made sure all of our needs were met. We had everything we could have needed. We can’t wait to go back again!
Our family had a wonderful time - the location was fabulous, the house was large and comfortable, and the toys and lounge chairs were inviting! Many houses have diminishshed or nonexistent beaches due to high water levels, but the lake house has a beautiful sand beach with easy access to the water, a large fire pit (great for s'mores!), and comfortable chairs. We enjoyed the paddleboard (large and stable) and the 2 kayaks (remember your life jackets!) The house features a large, extremely well-equipped kitchen, a big dining table, a living area with a large-screen TV (the loft and 2 master bedrooms also had large TVs), comfortable beds, and large bathrooms (with great water pressure!) The deck is perfect for morning coffee, a nightcap while watching the gorgeous sunsets, and everything in-between. Caseville is a fun little north Michigan town and was an easy drive up the road.

Wonderful!
We stayed in this property with another family for 1 week and it was exactly as described in the listing. The house was immaculate which is tough to do since it is right on the beach. It seems like the owner had thought of everything from toys on beach, to ample seating inside/out, a new tiki bar and plenty more items to have fun!
Ryan was very responsive throughout the entire process from booking to when we were on property. We would stayed here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful cottage.
Our cottage stay was great. Everything was as stated on Home Away in the descriptions of the amenities. All the appliances worked just fine. The bedrooms were really quite large and the beds were all comfortable. My sons and families, with my grandkids had a wonderful time. We didn’t have to worry about the little ones, as the water was shallow for a long way out. The beach was nice and sandy and Lake Huron was really quite warm. Watching the sunsets from the deck or on the beach by a campfire was a nice bonus. Working with Ryan was easy. He always returned my emails or phone calls. I’ve rented again for next year, we liked it so well. We’re making memories for years to come.
