We had a great time at Enchanted Cove! Jo Ann is awesome! She suggested several restaurants and they were really good! Property is clean and has plenty of space! The outside patio is quite and relaxing and the neighborhood is gated and quiet!

Property is in a secluded location with two other houses close by. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. The house is relatively new construction that has been well kept. We were able to dock our boat directly behind the house. The waterway was clean. The stay here was great

Lovely lake house

We are two older couples that stayed three nights at this lovely lake house. It was as described, clean and very well stocked with kitchen items, linens and towels. We didn’t realize that the only TV reception is internet streaming channels. This was a challenge for us older folks. The management tried to help us as much as they could. You need to bring your sign on information to watch your favorite premium channels. The location is further out than we thought but we enjoyed the peace, quite and water view after touring The Gardens, Hot Springs and the state park.

Good but not great

The house was nice and it was very clean. The check in process was okay. The owner has a property manager, yet when we arrived we had to turn on all the toilets (yuk!) and the ice maker, and put out all the patio furniture cushions. So what does the property manager do? This was not Included in the description. As for communication - the property manager(s) were curt, almost to the point of rudeness, with any questions we asked, like we were putting them out. They waited until just 2 weeks before our reservation to call to tell us we would not be able to use the top floor balcony, so it was too late to rebook anywhere else. They refused to give us a discount and kept INSISTING that it was “fine.” Well - it wasn’t fine. We felt short- changed that we didn’t get to use the entire house as advertised and also paid for. We brought motorcycles and bicycles but were not told we would not have access to the garage so the motorcycles sat outside the whole time; in the rain the first night. There was nothing in the description about no access to the garage. Also, be very careful on the dock as there is a lot of wood rot. The location was beautiful and the house is very nice but it was not the cozy lake house style we were expecting.

Lakehouse

When we arrived, we couldn't get into the house because of a problem with the front door but the property manager came to us immediately to get this corrected. The property was located in a wonderful area that was minutes from downtown but off to itself in a serene part of Lake Catherine. The kitchen provided absolutely everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. The view was beautiful from the one balcony out of three that we could actually use (sign requested top balcony not be used and bottom was too dirty to use). However, the outside cleanliness of this property left much to be desired. Two problems with the house.....1. our soap bottles in all 3 bathrooms were filled with 25% soap and 75% water and the bathrooms were less than clean, housekeeping needs to be addressed about this immediately. 2. Cleanliness of the outside left much to desired. We could only use 1 of the 3 balconies....for the property to be advertised as a lake house, the balcony by the water was dirty....furniture was not clean and cushions had mildew, dirt and cobwebs took over and deck/boat slips couldn't be walked on because dried geese poop was every where, grill looked like it hadn't been taken care of. The top balcony was closed off to use for whatever reason which was not shared in the listing or by the property manager. For anyone wanting to enjoy the outside on water's edge, you had to do it from the one balcony that was clean enough to sit on even though the hand rails were covered in cobwebs. The entryway to the house was also covered in cobwebs. Again, the location was superb and we did enjoy being there but the lack of outside use and cleanliness is what brings this review to 3 stars.

40th birthday get away

This house was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was beautiful and spacious and stocked with anything we possibly could have needed. We were able to swim at the dock and it was perfect. Every patio was enjoyed and we will definitely be returning! Not ONE thing we could complain about.

Enchanted Cove

The pictures honestly didn’t do this place justice. We all agreed it was so much nicer in person. We utilized every inch of the home. We brought kayaks to enjoy the water in the evening. The kids even spent lots of time swimming by the docks. The grill, jacuzzi tub, laundry room…. All great amenities! We also checked out the neighborhood pool which was huge and well maintained. Rented a boat from the nearest marina as well. So much fun! We all said we would book this property again if it’s available in the near future. Thanks for everything!
