Great Condo on Madeira Beach
Very large, updated condo on Madeira Beach. We will definitely be booking it again in the future for a family vacation!
Exactly what we wanted
Really loved Madeira Beach, it was peaceful, not overcrowded and the beach life was amazing. The unit was right on the beach with a beautiful view of the Gulf and we had awesome views of dolphins every morning.
The condo was exactly as listed and was a great fit for our family. The management team was responsive and communicated expectations in a timely and efficient manner. The only drawback was with the building itself as it really needs an upgrade to the elevator. Other than that the vacation was perfect. The condo was well stocked with essentials for cooking on a level I have never enjoyed before. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again. Their recommendation for the dolphin snorkeling cruise was also amazing and one of our favorite days.
Successful family vacation
6 of us staying at the property. Condo was clean and well kept with plenty of room for all of us.
Elevator and stairs could use some updating.
Kitchen well equipped, but first time we've experienced a starter kit of dish washer pods, trash bags and toilet paper. Have provided our own laundry soap and toiletries at other vrbo's, but this is the first time we've had to buy the others and haul leftovers home.
Enjoyed our stay and pictures are just as the unit is!
Beach access is perfect! That beach is wonderful, clean and we played endlessly there!
You can see St John's Pass from here and an easy stroll to get there. About a miles walk! Save on parking at St. John's Pass and buy an ice cream for the walk home.
Also, owner was very quick to respond by both text and phone upon our arrival with simpleton questions! We appreciate that!
Very nice! Would stay here again!!
One of our Top favorite family vacations! We enjoyed every last minute of the vacation. From the Location, to the comfort level. We recommend using the stairs instead of the elevator to keep your workout up while dining at all the amazing local restaurants. We also walked to sweet Brunettes and had some of the best coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Also, loved the restaurants directly across the street. We did have a small issue with our lock on our door and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly everyone responded to us. New lock so issue was quickly resolved.
Also recommend meeting the maintenance crew at dawn to book your chairs and umbrellas. I didn’t do this till the last day and throughly regret it. Having shade was a game changer for the heat. :).
It was ok
I’m actually surprised it had so many 5 star reviews. When we first arrived my first impression was that the building itself was pretty run down. The elevators, walk ways, doors, windows ect are all very old and dirty. When we opened the door I was a little relieved that the unit was somewhat updated . Newer floors, countertops, and paint. But that’s it . The furniture was old. under the couch cushions were dirty, the cabinet drawers had crumbs ect. The beach was beautiful. Great views. I would not stay here again
Explore pristine Florida beaches in the St. Petersburg area, home to Madeira Beach and Treasure Island. Pick from houses, condos and cottages, and get ready to enjoy sugar white sand and warm breezes. Vacations in the St. Petersburg area offer abundant outdoor recreation – on and off the water – a lively arts scene, and award-winning restaurants.
Madeira Beach, located west of St. Petersburg is home to John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, a fun attraction for all ages. John's Pass, or the Pass to locals, offers top dining and nightlife options, family-friendly attractions, shopping and water sports. While walking the 1,100-foot boardwalk, see alligators at The Alligator Attraction and dolphins playing in the Gulf's waters. Walk into dozens of unique shops that sell everything from beachwear to shells to find the perfect souvenir or gift.
Madeira Beach's restaurants welcome family and friends to try the fresh local flavor. Many top-rated restaurants at the Pass feature entertainment, specials and events as well. The Seafood Festival at John's Pass – held annually in October – hosts more than 100,000 guests to celebrate food, music, and arts and crafts.
Water lovers can parasail, rent jet skis or deep-sea fish to complete their beach vacation. John's Pass is also a popular fishing destination and brings in more grouper than any other place in Florida. Visitors can also relax while birdwatching, boating and canoeing, all within easy access of their vacation rental.
Treasure Island – adjacent to St. Petersburg – is another favorite beach town in Florida. Swim, snorkel, fish, parasail and shell at this hot spot, which was named from an early hotel owner who buried and discovered treasure chests on the beach.
Known as a secret spot for sunsets, Treasure Island's 3 miles of beaches serve as the perfect place to watch the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico with someone special. Treasure Island also offers guests fun-filled attractions and things to do, paired with restaurants serving everything from breakfast to fresh seafood dinners.
Other popular attractions in the St. Petersburg area include the award-winning Salvador Dali Museum and Fort De Soto Park, the largest park within the Pinellas County Park System, measuring more than 1,100 acres.
