Everything with the condo was exactly how it’s pictured. It’s a little outdated, but everything works and the view is amazing! It was great that the balcony was screened in.

Great Location - Missing Beach Essentials

We loved the location of Villa Madeira. The unit itself was lacking with proper beach supplies. We had no beach towels, no beach chairs, a very tiny umbrellas, no beach toys for the kids. Very disappointing to find this out and have a late night run to get towels, boogie boards, shovels, tumblers, etc. having beach chairs meant to relax in the sand rather than 2 small camp chairs would have been ideal and for the group. Other units in the building seemed to have condiments, towels, supplies etc as we met the neighbors through out the week. The washing machine also had to be unplugged and reset through out our time. For the money spent with the stay, it was disappointing to not have any proper beach supplies for comfort out by the water.

The view was nice, just didn’t like that it was all screened in (which we were aware of). They had beach chairs to use, which was very handy. The mattress in the master was very uncomfortable. And the dishwasher didn’t work well.

The location and views are great. Beach amazing for kids. We have a 4 and 6yrs old. This beach was great to play with them. The apartment was clean and organized. Have everything we need but because chairs. The chairs were broken so we ended up renting chairs at the beach which was added costs. Hopefully after this review they update their chairs for the next guess. Overall, we had a great stay!!

Perfect location, walk to coffee shop, caddy’s restaurant and ice cream shop! Unit was clean , views from balcony of sunset are amazing. The pool area is a very nice size. Unit does need updated, flooring, cabinets, appliances etc, but nice place to stay. We would rent again if unit is available .

The property is a little dated, but clean and conveniently located. Currently does not sleep 6 as the sofa does not pull out. Fantastic views, excellent beach access, walking distance to shopping and food, yet far enough away from tourist traps.

Great Place to stay

Great place directly on the sea. Kitchen with everything you need. There were 6 of us with 2 children and there was a lack of room to sleep. Everything was fine from A to Z, the only problem was the towels which were too few (only 6) and we had to wash them every day.

We had a great week at Villa Madeira. We have stayed in this building before and we love the location. Close to Johns Pass, grocery around the corner, Candy Kitchen across the street, and several restaurants within a few miles. The beach is beautiful and not terribly busy considering it was spring break. The condo was nice and clean and had the utensils and towels to accommodate. Condo could use a little updating but the furniture and beds were clean and comfortable. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
