With a feel reflecting Nashville’s history and grit, you’ll stay inside a gorgeous old building built during the Civil War - with all the building’s original details intentionally preserved during renovation to complement the condo’s brand-new interior features.
Located inside a historical Civil-War-era building called “The 1865” after the year it was built, this condo is a truly original Nashville experience. For decades, building was used as a warehouse for tobacco and for a printers and lithographers manufacturer.
Now newly reimagined, The 1865 has a second life as a luxury condominium. This top floor condo features the building’s soaring vaulted ceilings with its original cedar beams, exposed brick walls, and legitimate graffiti-decorated from when the building was going unused. Inside the condo, the atmosphere itself gives a nod to the Nashville I love - playing off the authentic character of the building with decor pieces of vintage and industrial style.
Comfortably sleeping 10 people, there are 3 bedrooms, all with cozy mattresses. Also, two full bathrooms, a stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, plus a washer and dryer.
AMENITIES:
There are great shared amenities open to the whole building! There's an outdoor balcony located on the same floor as our condo that is right down the hall! It's great for hanging out. In addition, on the ground level is a patio with a couple grills, a bar for guests to use, and a plunge pool (not a large swimming pool - it’s designed to be perfect for hanging out in and cooling off!) These amenities are open to anyone staying in the building!
LOCATION:
The condo is located in an industrial/semi residential area - near several popular neighborhoods including The Nations, West End, Germantown, Hillsboro Village, Belmont Boulevard, and 12 South. ((And it's 2 miles to all the fun downtown!)) You’ll have easy access to tons of fantastic restaurants, bars, cafes, coffee shops, shopping, parks, etc found in all of these neighborhoods.
Free parking is available inside the gated property of The 1865.
There is a keypad entry to The 1865 building, and for the condo as well. An elevator provides easy access to the top floor.
TRAINS:
While there isn’t any road noise at the condo, there's a train track that runs next to the building. It's not a high speed line, but the trains can still be noisy as they travel by. There are white noise machines and earplugs provided for guests use in case the trains are bothersome at night!
