Sunset Cliffs is one of San Diego’s most scenic and peaceful coastal neighborhoods, located along the western edge of Point Loma. It’s best known for its dramatic oceanfront cliffs, unobstructed sunset views, and relaxed, residential vibe that feels more local and understated compared to places like La Jolla. The area centers around Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, where people gather daily to walk along rugged trails, surf below the cliffs, or simply watch the sun dip into the Pacific.
