This house was great for our short stay for a family wedding. Property owners were accommodating and communication was excellent. The only comment I have is regarding the pull out sofa- the mattress was very thin. But we made it work. Everything else was great.
We booked this home with intentions of relaxing by the pool and using the hot tub with family and friends in town for a wedding. They were both cold'. If you're gonna advertise a swimming pool & hot tub it should be ready for your guests. I also changed my dates on this house and was told it was all set then the day before check-in. I was told that I had to leave two days early that my reservation was never completed. Very inconvenient for out-of-town wedding guests. I'm not quite sure who dropped the ball on my reservation, but when I was told that it was a minor inconvenience I was disappointed.
Comfortable home. Master bedroom’s mattress was very comfy. Could use some updating as far as the dresser and some legitimate frying pans etc. Check-in was great and even flexible with the time. Big TVs. Did see a gas grill poolside in one of the pictures in the listing but no longer there. They did have a smaller Weber Charcoal Grill that delivered a great meal. The garage space was a nice bonus surprise. I didnt recall seeing any pictures of that in the listing. Unfortunately we didn’t use the pool as we felt the water temp was a bit too cool. The hot tub was very nice! Excellent and quick communication when I reached out with any questions. Would stay there again.

Outdated and needs updated linens
Overall the house was fine. It was quite outdated for the price and all of the linens had stains. Small ants in one of the bathrooms and a handful of bugs throughout the house. Pool was pretty and kept up with but if you’re staying in the winter months there’s no heater so it’s very cold. Some doors were off hinges and difficult to close and open. Dressers in master were breaking as we opened them with handles falling off.
My family and I stayed at this property for our Spring break 2024 (March 29-April 5th). We had a lovely time. The location made sense for us, as we have friends who live in Cape Coral and also wanted to be close to Fort Myers Beach / Bonita Springs area. The pool and hot tub made a good time for us. We struggled a bit with the dishwasher and the washer. The owners are getting a new washer, but it was not installed during our stay. Therefore we could not wash our clothes or towels. There were plenty of towels so we managed ok. The owners even offered to have their cleaning lady stop by and take our clothes to the laundromat, but we didn't want to bother. It was nice to have the trees/water to back up to. It made for a quite and private setting. Overall, the stay was great. With some updates to the appliances I think the home will be vrbo ready.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The property did not match the listing photos. The couches and bedding were different from what was advertised, and the couches were visibly dirty with long strands of hair on them.Cleanliness was a major issue throughout the stay. There were ants along the kitchen floorboards, dog kibble left on the floor, crumbs on the countertops and behind the trash can, long human hairs on the walls, floors, and even in the toilet bowl, bugs smashed on the walls, dust covering trim boards, and stains on the bathroom walls. The home appeared poorly maintained and outdated. Furniture and cabinets were worn or falling apart, there were holes in the master bedroom door, noticeable gaps between the floorboards and trim, and very amateur drywall patchwork throughout the home. A locked interior door facing the bed had a large hole in it, making us uncomfortable enough to cover it with a towel. Open electrical outlets also felt unsafe while traveling with our dog.Outside, there was garbage along the side of the house, the backyard was overgrown and not maintained, the patio screen was broken, and the pool ladder was missing steps. The kitchen was also poorly stocked with insufficient utensils to cook.Additionally, several TV remotes did not work, and the front door lock died during our stay, forcing us to leave the house unlocked. The host attempted to send batteries but toy didn’t solve the problem. The property was misleading, poorly maintained, and not reflective of the value paid.

We will take into consideration the feedback and do our best to improve. However, it's a bit frustrating when this guest brought her dog when it is against our policy and trashed our place including the hot tub. She allowed her dog into the hot tub and turned the hot tub green. We had to get a pool person to drain and treat the tub. Once we brought it up to her. The guest left us this bad review. Beware of this guest.
