Turtle Time - Beautiful waterfront home with pool, dock and tropical landscaping


Turtle Time is for relaxing on screened in porches, swimming in the designer pool and playing with all the many amenities or just enjoying the beauty of the home.

Outdoor living space? We have lots - upstairs screened porch with beautiful water views. Huge screened in porch downstairs with dining table/chairs, sitting area, ping pong table, domino table, ice cream maker and outdoor games.

Main house features the primary suite with king bed, ensuite bath, and French doors to the screened in porch. The decor is in an elegant West Indies palm tree style. Also in the main house, the "Under the Sea" guest room (queen bed) with it's own private balcony. There is another full bath off the hallway. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a Keurig coffee center for both individual cups and a full carafe. There are new granite countertops. Enjoy cooking with the newly added air fryer and all the utensils you need for a gourmet meal. The kitchen shares a bar with the dining room, giving additional seating to the large dining room table. The living room features 2 couches (one being a sofa bed), recliner and entertainment center with TV and games.

Separated by a breezeway is the guest suite with 2 queen beds, baby bed and ensuite bathroom. It's hibiscus décor gives a tropical garden feel.

Outdoors is a tropical oasis with key lime trees (try the house recipe for key lime martinis), guava tree, mango tree, and coconut trees. Don't miss the butterfly garden, recently certified as a monarch sanctuary.

Relax by the turtle shaped pool or lounge under the tiki hut with a table/chairs and a hammock.

Dock your boat(s) at the large dock complete with fish cleaning station for your daily catch. Feed tropical fish and view them at night with the underwater lighting.

Rentals are a 28 day minimum. The 28 days must fall within a calendar month. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Pet friendly with a pet deposit and pet fee. Pool heat available for an affordable additional fee. Plenty of parking with double driveways. Note: couch/chair covers are provided for your protection (cleaned after each visit) and to protect the furniture. They are not to be removed during the stay. Please cooperate with this request, as we had to buy new ones recently due to a guest "accident".

Turtle time was absolutely fantastic the location is perfect for everything, the house is very well stocked and clean and super cozy, the owners are awesome they made sure we had everything we could need and then some communication with them is superb also. I look forward to going back and staying there next year. If your looking for a beautiful place to stay and relax then Turtle Time is the place

We are from the Houston, Texas area. We walked into this home during an open house and instantly fell in love. We love gardening and are continually working to make the large yard into a tropical garden. This is our happy place. We enjoy getting to know our many repeat visitors and sharing our home.

Why they chose this property

The middle keys are a perfect area, not too far from the mainland, but far enough to feel the relaxation the islands offer. Key West is a short drive, but doesn't offer the peacefulness of the middle keys. Duck Key is residential and our property is very private with all the amenities that you need.

What makes this property unique

We have one of the largest lots available for rent in Duck Key. The house offers a guest suite, separated from the main house by a breezeway offering privacy for your guest. We are on the water and have turtle shaped swimming pool! We have lots of things to do: ping pong, domino table, croquet, badminton, lounging by the pool or in the tiki hut - even a homemade ice creamer maker to cool off on warm days.
