Our house is packed with lots of Premium Features, we added an amazing Multi room speaker system, SONOS. Imagine having a party with music playing in all rooms or just one of the room, this is an exciting and well reviewed item we added. We also provide a complimentary Spotify Account to use while in the House. We added ROKU Ultra on all TV's. We added a Premium Grill (Weber) so you can enjoy the weekend BBQ's or parties. We love our guests so we added a Picnic Tables outside a fire-pit and additional seats for small or large groups. We even provide K-Cups for your Coffee and Teas. We try to give our guest the most and premium items.

Don't forget to visit Bushkill Falls only 15 min drive from our house, you can also enjoy nearby Water Parks, Golfing, Horseback Riding or community Indoor and Outdoor Pools, Tennis and Basketball Courts and lots more. We even provide 6 Amenity Passes valued at over ($300)

You and your guests will love this House. Our house is called the Sterling House, it's by no means your typical Poconos House, fully renovated, all our finishes are modern, high end and custom built. After looking at over 60 Houses in the area, the Sterling House was the best of them all. It's a 4 Level House with incredible scenic views of mountains and nature. Throughout the house, there's lots of natural sunlight with over 40 Windows and Skylights throughout. We used the most premium flooring with wide planks, we placed new moldings and casings throughout, cathedral ceilings, 3 Balconies including 1 in the Master Bedroom and a nice flow and open feel throughout. Do you like Privacy? Sterling House is located on a cul-de-sac (dead end street), which gives you the privacy you want. We even have a landline phone installed.

Since we also use this house for our vacationing we chose the best finishes and materials throughout. Sterling House has 2 Zone Central A/C and Heating, plenty of room for you and your guests, we also have outdoor furniture. There is a full size Washer and Dryer on-site and a Game Room. We provide fresh sheets and linens, towels and hand towels. Our Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, utensils, mugs, cups and plates. For all those techies, we have ROKU Ultra (my favorite) on all TVs, SONOS system in many rooms so you can play your favorites music all over the house, great for parties or just to relax on your own plus not to mention we have Keyless Entry no more keys to carry around. We also have enterprise level WiFI with Tri Band (DOCSIS 3.1 internet with ultra high speed)

Our pictures speak for themselves, if you are looking for a Modern house with all the latest technologies in the Poconos then this is the house for you. Besides the house, we are located in a lovely Gated Community with tons of Amenities on site, such as Fishing, Boating, 2 Indoor Pools, 4 Outdoor Pools, Basketball (Indoor and Outdoor), Tennis Courts (Indoor and Outdoor), Fitness Center, Tiki Bars, Canoes, Kayaks and Ski Resort on-site (Nominal Fee) and best of all a full service restaurant called Top of the World which offers Dining, Wine, Beverages and Entertainment. All our Baths have Premium Shampoo and Body Soap, Master Bedroom even has a Wall Mounted Hair Dryer.

On average we host 10-14 guests comfortably and the house can accommodate 4-5 couples with no issues

FYI: Most houses in the Poconos have small rooms and low square footage, outdated, smelly and mold carpeting and/or walls, no filtered water, no ice maker on site, no laundry and just a basic layout, some houses don't even offer WiFi or Cable TV. We offer all the newest technology such as HD LED TV's, Smart Home with Controlled Lighting, ROKU, SONOS and best of all Modern and Updated Renovations.

Cute secluded house in a gated community

Plenty of sleeping space which was perfect for my extended family. Driveway is a little steep so if you have older guests that might be an issue. I had no problems whatsoever. Clean and communication was timely. For a last minute book it went as smooth as possible!

My family absolutely loved this property.

Thank you for allowing my family to enjoy your beautiful property. My family is already having talks about booking it again in the future. There was ample space and the layout was awesome. My grandmother loved your double sided cabinets and want to do the same in her home now. lol. In short it was great. We didn’t take advantage of any of the amenities because of how short the stay was but we plan to change that in the future granted you will have us. Thank you again, from my family to yours. Plenty of room.

There are plenty of beds and lots of space in this home. The furniture has seen better days but functional. There is some repair work being done with the railings currently. We had some issues with the appliances and heat that were resolved. Some difficulty communicating with the weekend manager but he owner was very nice. The outdoor space was wonderful and the location of the house was excellent.

Christmas Poconos vacation 2020

choosing this property for our first family christmas vacation was the best decision ever, we arrived at the property all 11 adults and 5 kids & 3 dogs(small) on December 23rd, all vehicles were packed to the brim with christmas tree, decorations, pots pans,,grocery for 5 days, presents full works. first the drive there was awesome 1hr 30mins, our first impression of the property was “wow” it was clean, the kitchen was modern the coffee maker was the highlight, the furniture is some what out dated and couldn’t seat all 16 of us for dinner or breakfast, but, we made it work, the den/ kids gaming room was ideal for them, the only little down fall we had was none of the blow up beds worked lol so my 5, 20-28 yr olds basically had to sleep on floors or sofa s, but as i stated before, we made it work, Sterling house was warm, homely and it wasn’t perfect but it was perfect for my family. Thank you Daniel for making our stay easy, and maybe on our next stay we’ll figger out how to use the fireplace lol

RENTER BEWARE!

Our weekend was to be a getaway for 3 families. One family had an emergency and was unable to go. The host, Daniel, was kind enough to refund the guest overage fee due to our party size decreasing. This review is not an extortion claim. We are not requesting a refund, but want to make potential renters aware of the state of the property. Floors were cracked, chipped, missing/dirty grout and loose tiles in the bathrooms, and just not clean. Two of the four sliders in the property did not lock. One had a security bar in the door’s track, the other had been secured with a fireplace poker capped with a Corona bottle. The grill was beyond filthy. the only frying pan there was rusted. We saw a mouse on the countertop and it ran across the stove. After further inspection, mouse droppings were observed on the stove, kitchen window sill, behind the couch in the upper living, room, in the 2nd floor hallway, first floor bath and these are just the ones we noticed. Needless to say after all this we did not cook anything at the house. The sheets appeared slept in with fuzzies and hair in the beds. When we stripped the beds to wash the sheets, we were appalled at the condition of the 2 queen mattresses. They were so badly soiled and stained that we flipped the mattresses in order to sleep. After surviving the night, we attempted to shower the next morning. We had to fix the shower in the master bath as the diverter had been removed and the shower wouldn’t work. The main hall bath, while it worked, the handles were falling off the wall and the tub was sagging and felt like it was going to fall through the floor as evidenced by the water damage on the kitchen ceiling. While getting ready in the downstairs bedroom, a roach crawled across the bedroom floor. It was at this time that we contacted Mila, Daniel’s assistant to express our concerns. She texted back her apologies and offered to send a cleaning service but we felt that this was beyond the help of a cleaning service. We also brought up the security concern with the sliders to which she did not acknowledge. Subsequently we saw 2 more roaches before our checkout the next day. On the surface this home appears well kept as shown in the home’s photos posted online however the reality is this home needs an exterminator and a thorough going over. We are not picky people but we feel, the price we paid for this home should entitle us to a clean, safe, healthy home, free of rodents and insects.

Family long weekend

We had a really nice time indoors taking a closer look at nature, having a hammock was such a plus relaxing and enjoyable, plenty linen and towels were provided and electrical heaters in case the house heat wasn’t enough; queen/full bed very comfortable and clean, the kids room was small room needs work the bunk bed and trundle was not sturdy and shook while the kids would sleep and moved. The 2 single beds room was pretty spacious and clean the 1st floor room was well maintained and warm. The master bedroom was nicely cleaned and spacious the jacuzzi was a plus however the borders not so clean I would also recommend for the sliding balcony doors to be repaired and for the bathroom windows to have shades or blinds. Overall is a very comfortable property for 10 to sleep not larger and it was cleaned OK. The game room was a nice addition to have the kids enjoyed it.

Daniel and Mila were most responsive and helpful - could not have asked for better property managers. Would suggest maybe leaving enough time to wash sheets when you arrive - or bring sheets with you - especially if more than 8 people are staying there. Spacious house with lots of stairs. Nice location on a cul de sac in a safe development with a perfect skiing area for beginners - but also with proximity to bigger mountains. The indoor pools were closed when we went.

A wonderful getaway

The property is as big and nicely furnished as the pictures suggest. The wifi, SONOS music around the house, multiple TVs, games in the basement, all provided more entertainment than we even needed and were a big hit with the kids. Extra bonuses like the whirlpool tub and keurig coffee maker were a plus for mom. Lots of blankets to cozy up with and all the cookware you'll need. Owner was responsive and place was spotless when we arrived. Will definitely go there again. And maybe we'll bring another family with us next time. The place can easily fit 2 families, if not more. Very spacious.

All You Need is at Bushkill

The property was as advertised. I was impressed with the items that were already on-site from bedding and towels to utensils and pots. Although we brought just about everything we thought we would need, we really could have just arrived with our luggage. We were in close proximity to supermarkets, outdoor activities and outlet shopping. All of this while maintaining peace and quiet at the actual property. We will definitely be booking another stay in very near future.
