The host was super fast and responsive to my messages which was greatly appreciated. The house was a little dated and a piece of the ceiling in the kitchen was missing but the surroundings and creek ambience were so beautiful. It would be a lovely place to be outside, but temps for us were quite chilly. I could definitely see coming back when it was just a bit warmer to enjoy it.
It was a nice house it does have a lot of steps!! Creek in the back was beautiful again a lot of steps but worth it!! We had a great time staying here!! Thanks for letting us enjoy your house!!!!
Pleasantly surprised with this cabin location worked well and was easy to access

We came to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday with his wife and dogs, our parents, and my husband and son. The house was perfect for our needs! We had plenty of space and the dining table was wonderful for family dinners. The creek was fun to hang out around with the fireplace and my son and I played in the water!

325 Fie Top Rd is a quiet haven for families looking to get away and rest and reconnect. It is stocked with everything you might need to cook delicious meals and gather around the table. The black stone grill was a favorite for us; pancakes in the am and burgers at night. The creek provides a tranquil space to gather on the property. We spent every evening on the deck enjoying the roaring creek and rocking chairs. There are numerous hiking trails within 45 minutes. We especially loved Waterrock Knob, the farm museum, elk sightings and trailheads off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Such thoughtful and kind guests—an absolute joy to host! We’re so glad they enjoyed the peaceful charm of 325 Fie Top, from the Blackstone breakfasts to the evenings by the creek. Their appreciation for the home and surrounding nature shines through, and we’d love to welcome them back anytime for more mountain memories. 🧚♀️
We so enjoyed this property with the sound of the rushing water in the creek. It was super relaxing to sit in the chairs around the fire pit that was by the creek or even to have the balcony doors in the master bedroom open to allow the sound to come in. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and the manager was very responsive when we couldn’t get the hot tub to temperature and fixed it right away. We would love to stay at this property again in the future!

The creekside bliss is beautiful place to really hear the creek. Sometimes, depending on rain you could hear it in the cabin. It was calming. We loved eating on the back deck for our meals. The cabin had the essentials we needed to cook everyday. The blackstone was so nice to have right off the kitchen. We loved the long dining room table for some eating and playing games at night. Beds were comfortable. Master bedroom with king bed has a sliding door but the other upstairs bedroom has access to it as well. Bottom floor was quite cool (and a bit musty) compared to the other floors. Overall the stay was good!

We loved the creek and the fire pit next to our cabin. The rooms were great sizes and we especially loved the large table that adjusted to fit our large family! Plenty of seating, everything was very clean, linens were provided, soap and dish detergent provided which were nice extras. Instructions for taking care of things as well as WiFi info. easily accessible. The porch seating and hibachi grill were awesome! We also loved the lit stairway/ramp down to the fire pit and creek area. Close to everything you might need (local restaurants, grocery store, etc). We had one issue come up during our stay and the host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Seven of us stayed at the house for a few nights. The house was a nice size for all of us to feel comfortable. Communication with both the manager (may be the owner, not sure) and the handy man was good. We had a few questions/issues and they were addressed very quickly. We thought we may need to drop some luggage off early and they were very kind to allow us the option. We had seen in the literature there would be a Keurig and when we could not find it, one was brought by very quickly. The same trip yielded some lamps for a bedroom that was had some lighting issues. The water pressure and hot water supply were great and the washer and dryer came in handy. The downstairs game room was a fun touch! There was even some sugar in the cabinet for our coffee. The sound of the rushing water in the creek below was so soothing. Only a couple of items could be addressed, kitchen towels were few and far between - one hand towel with a hole and one dishrag that had seen better days. The mattress cover downstairs was ripped to the point the sheets would not lie flat, and the ceilings, corners, etc could be dusted a bit. We were never able to get the WiFi to work, I understand some of this may be due to the mountains. We enjoyed coffee on the beautiful back porch and working puzzles on the large, accommodating dining table.
Overall, we had a great time and were very grateful for the timely help we received from the host and the friendly handyman.

The host was welcoming and the house was perfect for our family. Love that it’s on the creek and at the foot of Cataloochee. The hot tub and fire pit were a nice bonus at the end of the day.
