I'm from Columbus, MS. I grew up going to the Poker Club for family events and parties. I love the river and literally grew up on the river in front of the Poker Club. I want visitors to be able to feel the peace and power and mystery of the river that has been such an important part of my life.

Why they chose this property

There is nothing quite like the Island. It's unique in so many ways. You are on an Island created when the Tennessee River was connected to the Tombigbee River in the 1980's. Island Road was, and is, Hwy 182. All of the old nightclubs - Bob's, The Club, The Hi Hat, Chunky's/Night Moves were located across the street. The Island is full of mystique.

What makes this property unique

It's the Poker Club! It's secluded and private, yet close to everything in town. It's on the river. It's directly across the river from 1st Street and Southside. You can drive to 1st street and look across the river and see the Poker Club.
