7th Ward Nightmare

This was the worst vacation rental I have ever encountered. As someone who books a vacation rental at least twice a year, I have never had such a horrible or frightening experience as I have with this place. The rental is not described or pictured as it actually is, starting with the listing failing to disclose this is a shared property with immediate access to the upstairs living area. Secondly, I was greeted by a busted lock to enter the property followed by a pungent odor of cigarettes and disgust. The sinks had dead bugs in them and the closets looked as if someone was staying there. Not only was there an unsecured stairway leading downstairs, it led directly into a bedroom without a door. As if the smell and dirt were not enough, the lighting in the unit was very dim. My family and I encountered multiple rideshare drivers who were generally concerned about our safety arriving to and leaving from the property. This was such a horrible experience, my family and I left the property to stay at a local hotel. This home looks to be one to setup up an unsuspecting traveler to be a robbery victim or worse. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!

Nice stay

The property was nice, comfortable and quiet. The only thing I didn’t realize it did not offer was a stove to cook. Yes, there was a hot plate to cook but not the same. All in all, the property and area was outstanding.

Definitely coming back!

Very neat and clean set up! The beds are comfy, loved all the amenities this place had to offer such as appliances, tv and wifi. Made me feel right at home! Iniko is a wonderful host who responded promptly and very friendly. Loved the neighborhood and the distance to the French Quarter and all the touristic sites. Staying at this location really made my stay very pleasurable for myself and my family.
