Everything was great! The home was as cute as the photos and offered us the peace and tranquility we were hoping for. The host was helpful and responsive. Wonderful experience!
There were dead animals on the property. Kayaks on the dock full of water and mosquito hatching. The trash cans outside were full and overflowing. Property not as described.

Alas this review is entirely unrepresentative of this property and inaccurate in every way. Hopefully it can be removed, but that rarely happens.
Unfortunately Molly was a 4 night local booking who we presume didn’t read the description of the house which clearly states that this beautiful boathouse sits on a shared parcel of land with the adjacent main home next door.
Our properties are meticulously cleaned and also inspected by a staff member prior to our guest arrivals. This happened as normal and there were no dead animals or anything of that nature present during our inspection. The trash cans were indeed full and scheduled for the weekly pickup the following day. The reference to the kayak, was one that the guests next door had used that day and as a result was sitting out on the dock.
We can only assume that Molly was expecting a full home and not a studio boathouse as she explained there wasn’t enough space to cook with and on the morning after their first night requested a refund otherwise they would be leaving a poor review. We immediately requested photos so we could see what she was referencing and offered to send a staff member over to investigate. We were informed they had left the property that morning. We didn’t receive any photos and weren’t given an opportunity to come and review anything with them in person.
That being said, we did immediately go to the property to follow up and still found no evidence of what was being described.
