Excellent stay

Updated, clean and very comfortable. Host very responsive to messages. She provided everything from Roku, to eye make up fiber cloths, shampoo/conditioner and coffee/creamer. Everything needed is a shot walk or drive away. Just be sure to lock your car.

Was tidy, nice, and just enough for what we needed

Everything went well and it was an enjoyable stay. My only complaint would be that there weren’t any napkins or paper towels provided, only one roll of toilet paper, and only two towels. We made it work but it would be nice if extras were supplied since it is listed in the description.

Two towels for two people staying almost 4 days. I roll of toilet paper, and the shower drain was clogged water would stand over your ankles. The location was perfect but the host could do better.

Lovely Apartment

This was our first time visiting Cleveland and we couldn’t have been more happy with this location & apartment. It’s in the heart of a trendy neighborhood. Walking distance to great restaurants & bars. The apartment was very pretty. Very clean with homey decor. The owner was pleasant to work with & made our stay very comfortable. section of the city

The apartment was wonderful and exactly as described. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, cookware, baking dishes and pans and utensils. There was even plastic wrap, tin foil, etc. The area is very quiet.Unfortunately, my stay was in the middle of a snowstorm with more than 15” of snow. There was nothing on the property as far as a broom or shovel to remove the snow. When I texted the host she really didn’t offer much of or any solution other than to say that I could call a tow truck if my car got plowed in. When I asked her if there was someone that would come and plow the walkways, etc., I didn’t receive a reply. A gentleman did show up in the middle of the storm on Sunday afternoon with a snow blower and did the walkway on the side of the house. I asked him if he was going to return and he said yes, but then never did. So what small amount he did do was snowed back over within a few hours. My car did end up being plowed in and I was lucky enough to have a woman drive by, stop, asked me if I needed help. She went home and returned with a shovel to dig me out. It’s also worth mentioning that the neighbors are NOT helpful at all. I went to three different homes, knocked on doors and no one would answer. I would see someone out shoveling and tried to ask for help and was ignored. So I would recommend that the host hire someone to come and remove snow properly and to provide at least a broom and shovel so that guests can dig themselves out if they’re plowed in.

Tranquil tremont

Positives: Loved the neighborhood. Cute apartment with good management. Negatives: Didn’t realize that the bedroom is only separated by a 3/4 wall. It is truly a studio apartment. We arrived during a snowstorm. The sidewalk and porch were shoveled at 3 am. This was very loud and right outside our window but I was happy the sidewalks were treated. Was very cold and very drafty in the apartment but we were there during a cold few days. Coffee bar came complete with 2 pods for our 2 day stay. If you don’t want to provide the coffee, then don’t include it as an amenity. The apartment suited our needs for the two days.

Sorry you had a subpar experience. I dont control when the property gets shoveled, so apologies it was early in the morning. The coffee bar was an oversight, but you were more than welcome to have purchased your own. Thanks for mentioning the weather was below normal temperature- again, out of my control. Clearly you didnt see the space heater in the closet. Nonetheless, thanks for the review.

Great Tremont Location!

Great location, cute property. Had one big issue though -- there was a mother bird and her chicks nesting IN the living room wall in a huge gap on the exterior of one of the windows. The birds were very loud, especially early in the morning -- making sleeping in nearly impossible. When I contacted the 'owner' she said she was aware of the problem and had already contacted the actual property owner (she was merely leasing the property and then re-renting it on VRBO). But, she said since she didn't own the property it was up to the actual owner to resolve the problem. She said the actual owner was supposed to be sending someone, but that she had no ideal when they would come. The issue was not resolved by the time we left. This didn't seem right -- I would think the person collecting my rent money through VRBO would be accountable for the upkeep of the property, not simply 'pass the buck' to someone else. The VRBO renter should have paid someone to come resolve the issue, then sort it out with the actual owner later. This "not my problem" response was very unsettling. Hopefully, VRBO can work to hold their listing owners more accountable.
