Great time. The place was great and check in/out was easy. Rentals were right downstairs, and the Soaring Eagle lift was right out the window. The indoor hot tub was really cool. We could hear the hoots bar below at night faintly, but it didn't stop us from falling asleep after long days on the slopes.
It may sound like a small thing, but we really appreciated having sharp knives!!! The kitchen was well appointed! We loved the air fryer. Enjoyed the updated appliances and decor. Very comfortable bed! We love the ski-in/ski-out location. We highly recommend this unit!
When we arrived here, we were hyped with getting our vacation started. But - it all went downhill when we discovered that the condo was right above the Hoote’s restaurant and bar. The first night was the loud blasting music from DJ playing. We could hear and feel the vibration. We hardly slept! Sunday came and it was quiet. We thought it would go for the rest of our stay. No this wasn’t true. They had jukebox music playing and it was loud that I went down to talk with the manager at the bar. He turned down the music slightly. When I asked him when would the music end, his response was it would be from 11 pm to midnight. He didn’t sound empathic. I went to the front desk and asked about the quiet hour policy. It would after 10 pm but they couldn’t have the bar to follow the policy. There was the huge fan from the restaurant kitchen running constantly and You’d hear and feel the humming constantly. It would be nice to have the owners to give heads up with the possible loud disturbances from the restaurant and bar. It’s definitely not ideal for a family with kid(s). A couple or singles would be better off staying at the condo, especially the heavy sleepers. The condo was close proximity to everything: ski lift, ski ticket booth, ski shop, ski rentals and shuttle service. Great location!
Recently remodeled unit created a pleasant stay. New kitchenette appliances, counter top, flooring, furnishings. Great location, with a view looking out at the Soaring Eagle lift. A couple of things outside of the owner's control which could be improved: The lighting in the little hallways leading to the unit entrances is poor (every TOW unit I've stayed in has this problem). Makes the arrival unit access a little challenging. Also, the new lanyard/key card system for accessing rental parking is new but already antiquated. If you stay to ski on the day you check out, you have to return the lanyard/key card to the rental that morning and move your car to the pay lot. How about a keypad system for the rental lot, so you can leave your car there the day you check out? Owner was very responsive to questions before and during the stay.
