This area boasts remarkable biodiversity, with over 400 plant species and rich wildlife, including deer, turkeys, alligators, and over 100 bird species. We are excited to offer two tandem kayaks for your use during your stay at Lakeside on Lanier. These kayaks come equipped with paddles, two adult-size life jackets with safety whistles, and two youth-size life jackets. Best of all, the kayaks are complimentary for all guests!

For your safety and peace of mind, we kindly ask that all guests sign our waiver before their stay, even if you don’t plan to use the kayaks. We want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe experience at the lake!

Cozy Getaway

Great alternative than hotel in Tally. We were visiting our son at FSU and going to a game. Very quaint, quiet and cozy. The host was very thoughtful with details for accommodations. Will definitely visit again.

Great Getaway

If your looking for a nice place on the water for a nice quest getaway look no further. My boyfriend and I wanted a quick getaway on the water and this was perfect. The host was great and very responsive. We would stay here again.

Great Lake house

We were only there for one night, we were in town dropping our daughter back off for her senior year at Florida State. Great place ,Perfect views we will definitely stay there again when we are back in town.

Great, Peaceful Getaway

Really a clean and cozy cabin, very comfortable. The view of the lake is beautiful, mesmerizing in fact. Quiet at night for good sleeping. Everything we needed was there. The instructions from our hosts were perfect and any questions were addressed promptly. We will be back for sure.

Cozy Cottage at Lake Talquin

The cottage was so quaint and cozy. The lake view and access was beautiful. It was exactly as pictured. The communication from the owners was great. We didn’t need anything but I feel confident if we did they would be quick to respond.

Lovely Stay

This home is beautifully organized & situated house located on a huge river. They left everything you could ask for, and even thoughtfully arranged the dog basket, too. Enjoyed the stay very much, appreciated the hospitality, and if there could be a cleaning to the outside chairs in order to use the fire pit, this would give this home a five star rating. Relaxing week on the lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely property. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay as we enjoyed daily bird watching and nightly star gazing. The high speed wi-fi was a plus that enabled us to easily get some work done during the week. The neighborhood is very peaceful with low traffic volume that made for nice walks with our dog. The hosts were great to communicate with and ver responsive to questions. Highly recommend this property if you are looking in this area.

Relaxing Lake Stay

My mom and I enjoyed playing games on the deck and fishing down at the dock. The house was the perfect size, and the windows in the kitchen let so much natural light in. Well equipped kitchen as we made all of our meals there. Very accommodating for our fur baby too. Note: A gator got pretty close to the dock a few times, so make sure you keep your fur babies on a leash!

Lake getaway

Very cute and cozy house on the water. The dock at the house was great for tieing and storing our boat. Boat launch was very close to the house. Very friendly neighbors. The host's trip guide was very informative and helpful. We visited Bird's oyster shack in Tallahassee. Food and atmosphere were great. Host was welcoming and very responsive. House and ammenities were as advertised. Will stay again in the future. We had a great fishing getaway.

Lake Vibes

Great little cottage with a great deck overlooking the lake. Spent the week reading books enjoying the view with my Doodle at my feet. Easily hopped on my paddle board and went out to enjoy the lake. Kitchen is well appointed and coffee lover approved. Owners very responsive, although I had no issues. Just some silly questions... .

Beautiful & Cozy

This property is beautiful and cozy. It was the perfect size for our small family of 4 and 1 pup. The kids loved sharing a room while still having separate beds! The back deck over looks the lake and boy was it a beautiful sight! I loved that there is a pier for the family to fish and plenty of places on the property where I could sit and watch everyone enjoy themselves. The kids had so much fun and were not ready to leave. Not only was the property beautiful, but the host’s communication is worthy of more than 5 stars. They regularly provided important information, were quick to respond to my messages, and also had a virtual guest information book. This virtual book was very helpful with checking in and out, as well as basic information about how to use equipment on the property, and places to visit durning our stay. 10 out of 10, I recommend staying here. We will definitely be returning!
