Enjoyed our stay. Nothing fancy but exactly what we wanted. We even extended our stay one night. The pool and back porch was great. The kids enjoyed the kayaks. It was a bit too chilly for my Florida family to swim in the pool. If we need a house in Cape Coral again, we would love to stay here again.
Nice place to stay especially if you have a larger group, very nice neighborhood.

The property is mismanaged. When you book there is nothing stating an additional charge of 80 to heat the pool. For the price point the overall cleanliness of the house was lacking, the livingroom wasn't utilized as the sofas were dirty with stains. The chairs were not comfortable as you sank in when you sat in them, the bed sheets were stained, and had ink stains. The bathrooms were all missing light covers, there was dust everywhere and there was trimming around the house that was missing. The BBQ grill was disgustingly dirty it appeared to have large animal droppings and the propane tank was empty. The screen to the entrance as well as the side were ripped. The wall for the curtain rods were full of holes barely holding up the curtains. The sliding door areas in both bedrooms were filthy. The pool table looked good until you tried playing, the bumpers were broken allowing the balls to come off the table, the rack was also broken. This house has the potential to be an amazing place to stay if it was well maintained and if there was an attention to detail. It is sparsely furnished and the kitchen desperately needs cooking utensils for cooking proper meals. It is not worth the 200 a night stay. I wouldn't recommend at this price point. The outdoor space was the best part of the house and even that was lacking because of the neglect of the home.
This house was perfect for our stay. The kids loved all the space inside and outside to run around. The pool heater was great so we could use the pool anytime we wanted to.
We enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. The host where accommodating and everything was clean. Awesome view

House has a lot of potential. Unfortunately the house was filthy. It looked like the house had not been cleaned in months. One of the beds was a mess upon arrival like someone had slept in it. Towels in hall closet smelled like mold. Clean towels were left in dryer. They advertised the tvs have (YouTube tv) connected, none of them were logged in and the WiFi was so bad the only way we could log into Netflix was using iPhone as a hot spot. Good location, pool was clean and reason for two stars and not one.
Very spacious. Fun that it has arcade games and a pool table. Pool was really nice. Overall the place needs a deep clean and updating.

Good in theory
The overall property is nicely done. The pool table is a fun idea, the view is nice and you can surely feel comfortable in this house. Upon arrival however, we discovered that the pool area was full of toys and other stuff scattered around as if no one cared to clean it up before new guests arrived. Our impression of the tidiness was not very good in total. The fridge was dirty, the dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher etc. Needs some work done.

Regarding the fridge, we recently replaced it with a new one, but it appears that it might not have been adequately cleaned before your arrival. We will address this with our cleaning team to ensure it doesn't happen again. As for the dishes, they are indeed cleaned by our staff. The practice is to run the dishwasher right before new guests arrive, so we apologize if this created any inconvenience.

No water, fire ants, and roaches!!We arrived and unloaded the car. When we started walking around looking at the house we noticed all the fire ant piles throughout the house. We thought ok, not biggie we kill them and clean up. Went to change a baby diaper on the bed and noticed all the ants on the bed too. Every bed had fire ants on them, also resulting in a child getting bitten while on the bed.Went to turn on the sink to run cold water over the ant bite, well wow would you know NO running water!I messaged host immediately about the no water issue,(on VRBO, and emergency number they send) no way can we stay with no water. They responded to the message by saying they were looking into it. After 45 minutes we still had not heard back nor would they answere calls or texts. We left. After 2 hrs they wanted us to go to another property further away, and it was a hassel to get my money back. It was so frustrating. I still have not received a full refund, only partial. PLEASE DONT GO HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Location was beautiful on the water, pool table and games were nice, beds comfortable but the photo’s definitely made it look much nicer then it was. I contacted the owner with my issues. Cabinets/drawers in the kitchen were sticky, master bathroom shower was very dirty (black), the dryer didn’t work unless I had a ladder holding it closed, each kitchen drawer had crumbs which I cleaned half of them, the AC turning on makes a loud sound in the master which wakes you up when it kicks on, the light sensor in the master bathroom wakes up anyone else you have in the room since it’s so bright… had an issue getting into the house when we first arrived which the owners quickly fixed but was annoying after a long drive. I wouldn’t stay at this place again and have never given a poor review.

1. There was no toilet paper
2. The linens were dirty and the towels smelled as if they had soured in wash
3. There were no trash bags
4. The trash can outside had a ton of maggots in it
5. There is a moldy spot/water damage by front window where ants are everywhere

7. House had not been cleaned/showers were gross

12. One of the arcade games does not work (pool table & arcade being one reason we booked this property for kids)
TLDR: AVOID!! They don’t properly clean the home and they don’t care to make things right. Stayed less than 12 hours because the house was absolutely disgusting. Literal ant hills in the shower! Live and active ants throughout the house, a toilet was full of dead ants, we also found dead ants in the beds we hesitantly slept in. The dishwasher was full of water and had food scraps inside, the walls and baseboards were filthy, windowsills looked as if they hadn’t been wiped down in years, pool was full of pool toys and even had goggles thrown in it. The floors were filthy, I took a wet paper towel to one area and was able to remove the staining so I wonder what their “cleaners” are actually doing. We even found egg shells under a table!! Messaged the host when we arrived around 10:30pm and of course got no reply but we understood because it was late but there weren’t any messages waiting for us when we woke up around 7 the next morning. We reached out again and got nothing until we finally decided to pack up the truck and head home. The host said they’d reach out to the cleaners to see if anyone was available, we told them we were already loading the truck and they went silent again, left around 9:45am. When Vrbo called them they claimed they were driving all day and couldn’t text…so call? They claimed in a message that the home was professionally cleaned before our arrival…there is no way this is true. They didn’t handle it well and refused to give us even a partial refund.
I don't even know were to start. The management company was very difficult to contact, I tried several times to speak to someone and they where never available, they send messages that they prefer to speak via email. No personal touch, even when I contacted them to discussed my concerns.
We arrived very late and the code on the main door was not even programed, that gave me a sense that the house was not supervised prior to our arrival. Once we were able to get our code (I have to say, at least they responded within 5 minutes, the only time). We walked the house and it was EXTRMELY dirty. Rooms, Bathrooms (hair all over the bathroom, main entrance dirty, it was a NIGHTMARE, I wish I can share the pictures I took to prove my comments.
We did not have enough towels for 6 people. The WI-FI it was one of the slowest we have ever experienced, I called the management for help and they never responded, I had to used my personal hotspot from my phone.
The pool table, OMG!!! The sticks should go straight to the garbage, all the tip were broken, none of them were in working order. The only thing I can say that was nice is the pool as it looks like it was renovated and a nice backyard view, other than that, with all respect, I believe that the management company and/or owners should really invest before putting this property on the market, the exterior of the property also need some work and cleanliness.

We understand that the house is aging, but we assure you that our furniture and amenities are brand new. We have a professional cleaning service for the property, high-speed internet, YouTube TV, high-speed internet, and a brand new saltwater heated pool. We apologize for the issues you experienced with the main door code when checked in at 1:00 am. Please keep in mind that our door code automatically generates the code according to the phone number from your account. You must let us know if you have a different phone number. We were glad that our technical support was able to help you with the door code at 1:00 am.
Regarding the towels, your reservation shows only 1 person. The cleaning service left the towels according to the number of people on the reservation. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the pool table and the Wi-Fi. While we have about 10 sticks for the pool table, if some were broken, there was still plenty to use. However, we will look into these issues and ensure they are resolved. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again in the future.

Some Good, Some Bad
We debated what rating to give. Most wanted to give a 2. I decided to be more generous and give a 3.
Good: The home has good size, layout, & location. Also amenities like the access on water with kayaks. We did not use the pool.
Bad: The home is very poorly kept. It feels like cheap college housing: very worn down and not clean. At arrival it smelled VERY strongly of disinfectant to cove up something. One bed had a corner of the sheet roll up in the night. When making the bed a prominent and fresh large blood stain was seen on the mattress pad.
The kitchen had clean countertops, however the stove was grimy. There were also very aged splashes of something on the floor/cupboards as if a dropped container of tomato sauce had fallen and splashed all over and never cleaned. It looked quite old.
The gas grill was in poor physical condition and did not turn on. All cooking done on the stove.
The thermostat did not work. We could not adjust. The first night was very cold (and we're from Minnesota, we know cold). Later in warmer weather we could not adjust it down.
Positive Note: communication was very good. We emailed and received quick and professional replies. A crew arrived and changed all the bedding and cleaned surfaces including the stove. The thermostat was never fixed. It remained defective.
On balance - just an OK place to stay. We would not stay in this home again. But responses to questions were quick.
