This upstairs apartment affords private accommodations close to Scott & White, VA hospital, Texas A&M Health Science Center and dining in downtown Temple. Easy access to all of Bell County and surrounding area (30 min. to Waco, 45 min. to north Austin). Finish your day and unwind by the pool.

I will be staying here again! Highly recommend this place for anyone who is visiting with friends and family or just enjoys a relaxing time to themselves. It’s a beautiful property and the owners were so kind. The pool was fantastic. They even took care to have great pillows, bedding, and towels. Communication was easy and the hospitality was probably the best I have had from a stay. 12 out of 10!

Place is very peaceful and very clean. The host was amazing helped when asked and communicated with us very nicely. It is a spot we would come back to! The pool and spa were amazing. The beds were very comfy and the rooms were very clean and put together nicely.

This place was AMAZING! The hosts are AMAZING! All the little details from the hand written welcome note, to the snacks and the books about the history of this place were so unique and made us feel so special! The pool was gorgeous and this was overall one of our best experiences ever! We will definitely be back to this lovely place!

We loved our stay! The pool and hot tub were both easy to use and so enjoyable. The seating out was nice also and we always felt very secure and private. The owners also left us some snacks and drinks for our stay. Everything was well thought out and perfect for our weekend! We will definitely be returning soon!

This is a lovely cottage on the grounds of a beautiful historic home. The hosts were so attentive to each and every detail. The property exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect home to meet up with and visit friends from out of town. Everything was clean. The artwork and decor was lovely. There were above and beyond thoughtful touches like snacks, extra coffee, and a bottle of wine. The historic books that included information about the home were also wonderful. The pool and hot tub were perfect! There are plenty of places to grab last minute items or a quick bite. We would stay here again!

My stay at the charming carriage house apartment was absolutely wonderful. Originally my sister was supposed to join me on this trip and unfortunately had to cancel. As it turned out, everything worked out because I was able to spend extra time reconnecting with area family. The two-bedroom one bath layout was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was especially comfortable and I slept soundly from the very first night which is not always the case. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. Communication was excellent before and during my stay and there was a detailed information sheet on the fridge that covered all the important aspects and made everything so easy to navigate. Although the hosts might consider adding Oscar Store to the list of recommended local eateries as it had the best chicken fried steak I’ve had in many years!The thoughtful extras were such a welcome surprise. The snacks, fruit and drinks made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. It’s those touches that turn a great stay into a memorable one. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Great place for a family

Perfect spot for our kids to cool off and relax after a long day in the sun playing baseball. Will definitely book again.

Such a nice place to stay

We loved the property and would stay here again such a cool place to enjoy with a huge yard for the kids. We would have loved to use the pool if Texas storms had the water cold we did put our feet in and relaxed awhile.

Family Vacay in Temple

The property was well maintained and clean. We felt very comfortable relaxing at the pool. We especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evening gazing at the stars.
