The house well decorated and very cozy. The showers were awesome along with the kitchen. The location was great with Bois d’Arch lake only about 12 minutes away. The grounds were large with more than adequate boat parking. The owners were very friendly and responsive. Would go back in any time.
Loved the house, location to either lake, cleanliness everything withe the house was perfect the only negative was it was not boat friendly if you have more than one vehicle parking there that being said I would definitely stay there again
This property is excellent! I have been a VRBO Owner/manager for over 20 years & this property exceeds all expectations. This property is very clean & the attention to small details is amazing!
The house was just as advertised. Plenty of room for our boat and vehicle. Mandy responded quickly with answers to our questions. Will definitely be staying there again.
Very clean, kitchen equipped nicely and so well decorated.
We visited on a fishing trip and there was plenty of room for my husband’s truck and boat…which is always a big plus. We can’t wait to book this roomy, cozy place again!

Gloria, you and your husband were so kind, communicated so well and kept the home in perfect condition. It was as if you were never there. We hope you had an excellent fishing trip with many fishing stories. We look forward to hosting you again.
We enjoyed our stay! Had chicken and steaks on the grill. Very accommodating. All utensils, plates, and etc available for use. The decor was exceptional. One of the nicest VRBO ’s I’ve stayed in. Mandy was great communicating with us as well!
My husband needed lodging close to the VA for work. His schedule changes daily and he puts long hours and drive time in. Mandy worked with us and answered all our questions promptly. She is outstanding as is her cabin. Finding lodging in this area is challenging. We are very grateful to discover this spot and will spread the word. Thank you for sharing your home. My husband really needed a quiet relaxing restful stay and found it. Becky O

It was a pleasure to host Mike. We are glad he had a nice relaxing time after a hard days work. We look forward to hosting you all again. ~Mandy
Pros - very new and updated. Stocked with things like coffee, spices, cooking items. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well.Cons - The next door neighbors dog is kept outside all day/night and barks nonstop. The showers had dead bugs in them when we got there that we had to wash down the drain.

Thank you for your response. We apologize for the bugs that you found. We just had our quarterly pest control service the day before you arrived. This can draw the bugs out as they die. We have also been working with the neighbor on ways to stop the dog barking.. We are always trying to find ways to improve our cottage to make everyone’s stay as enjoyable as possible.
The house was amazing and great to stay in. Great location - not too far from town. You can just go into town if you need something. The only issue we had while staying was how tall the grass was in the driveway/yard. If you don’t know what you are looking for then you’ll miss the driveway thinking it’s just part of the ditch. The yard was overgrown which made it hard for children to play in without getting eaten up by chiggers/mosquitoes even sprayed with bug repellent.

I’m sorry you had issues with the yard. We mowed the yard 3 days before you came and had a tornado come through the day before you arrived uprooting a large tree. The week you stayed we had over 7 inches of rain fall. We had everything cleaned up and the yard mowing. Just days before your stay. The home sits on a full acre lot in the country. We have had an extremely wet year that is not typical for here. Making it nearly impossible to mow more than once a week between these heavy rain storms. We hope you enjoyed your stay.

The cabin was perfectly situated between Lake Bonham and Bois D Arc. We operate a cabin business as in SE Oklahoma and Mandy has done a fantastic job and communication was excellent. Kitchen was adequately supplied and beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting this area. We had trouble with the WIFI lock on the front door but Mandy promptly responded. The driveway was very wet the newly placed rock and we had to back in off of the highway, but Im sure this will be correctly. Keep up the good work Mandy. We will return.
Thank you for everything. We arrived around 8:00pm on Friday and everything was ready for us. No issues. Convenient unloading area and access. Very convenient location for our planned activity. We were in Ravenna, Texas at Pin Oak Kennels all of Saturday and Sunday so our drive time was just perfect to get over there in the mornings and back in the evenings. We really were impressed with the layout of the cottage with maxium use of space and maximum comfort and plenty of ambience. Whoever designed the floor plan/layout did an excellent job. All new appliances!! Thanks again and Moose did not eat all the treaties!
