About this property
The Magnolia House
You and your family will love this 100 year old fully restored home with its original hard wood floors, brand new chef’s kitchen, the 75’ TV and the extra large couch. Plan to pack your beach towels, your favorite swim suit and make yourself at home here in our Magnolia House. Located only 2 blocks from Maddox and only 5 miles from the beach. The bike trail to the beach starts right in our backyard. We hope to have created a space you can’t wait to come back to. The space Linens included/No Smoking/No pets
Side door entryway opens to the laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The 1st floor has a full kitchen with all amenities. Bar seating. Open concept living room. Watch the game while you cook. Off the kitchen is a Full bathroom. Please note -We have plants everywhere in this house so we have a very strict no pet policy as many of the plants are toxic to animals.
Going upstairs there is a small bathroom/European rain shower which is very fun and our guests love! Both bedrooms are upstairs as well with the office in the middle - which provides great privacy to each bedroom. The bedrooms each have queen (super comfortable) beds and a TV. We provide crisp white cotton sheets on all of our beds.
Saving the best for last, our favorite space is the 3rd floor walkup attic converted into a loft/living room. The 3rd queen bed is up here on one side and a sectional couch on the other side facing a 55” TV. On this side of the attic there is plenty of space for an air mattress if needed. With the high vaulted ceilings our attic makes rainy days so lovely! This 1500 square foot home is super cozy & comfortable. Guest access Whole house is accessible. You will also have access to the left side of the outside shed where you will find beach chairs and bikes. Other things to note Pets not allowed. We have many plants that are toxic to dogs. Do not bring your pets! Smoking is 100% not allowed inside or outside the property. If we see or the neighbors see anyone smoking we will ask you to leave without a refund.

We would 100% return to Magnolia House for our future trips to Chincoteague. The house itself has loads of character and the hosts have obviously put a lot of effort and care into modernizing it. It is exactly as depicted in listing. Kitchen has everything you could need, even though we didn't cook! But no worries, the house is in reasonable walking distance to of many dining and shopping options, but off Maddox so it's a nice quiet street. Go meet the ponies down Anderson Ave or Charlie the Great Dane at Church St Produce. The house has a large backyard if you have little ones to entertain. Ample AC power, hot water, washing machine that actually works! Jess has thought of so many appreciated thoughtful extras -- a jar of hair ties! Loved the live plants, the comfortable beds, nice linens. The house is 100 years old, so the stairs are steep and the steps narrow, and wooden. Just something to keep in mind if anyone in your party has limited mobility. 5 stars from this family!
