The place is great! Myself and the group enjoyed the house very much. Everyone had their rooms, restrooms, and everything was clean. I have this house a favorite for the next adventure in San Antonio. We had no issues

Our stay was okay and for a fair price. The BBQ grill needs to be replaced because it's rotten and the legs won't stand up. More importantly needs are a terminator to eradicate the roaches running around.

Some of the other reviews were correct about the cracks in the floor and the fact that one of the bedrooms is converted from a closet but honestly the space was clean and we all enjoyed staying there over a long weekend. The check out process was also really good - we really only had to make sure we took out the trash and washed any of our dishes which compared to some other places that give you a whole to do list was really nice. The rooms were clean and the host provided a lot of stuff for us to use. We liked the space a lot and it was very close by to a lot of the things we had planned around the downtown area.

Property was great for price. Just enough space to hold my family and I. Kitchen floor was damaged but nothing you can’t get past. A couple step downs without realizing. I almost fell multiple times. lol. But once knowing it was there. easily avoidable. One of the single beds was inside masters closet and the guest house outside has 2 beds. Overall a really great property and enjoyed our stay. Thank you! Will book in future as well.

The house was very roomy, spacious, and comfortably fit our entire family. For the price we paid, it was exactly what we expected. We weren’t looking for a place with every amenity; just a clean, comfortable place that met our family’s basic needs. The host was very responsive, answered all of our questions, and was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay.

Overall, our stay was okay, but several improvements could make the home more comfortable and welcoming. The location was average—not bad, but not particularly special. The house felt somewhat bare and lacked warmth or personality; adding a few decorative touches would make it feel more inviting.There were only two TVs in the main house and one in the back casita. TVs in each bedroom would be a convenient addition, especially for larger groups.Several holes in the kitchen flooring should be repaired for both appearance and safety. The kitchen chairs were also extremely loose and wobbly and should be inspected and secured between stays.The home was missing some basic necessities. The hand soap in the bathrooms appeared watered down, toilet paper was very limited, and no cleaning supplies were provided. While we do not mind cleaning up after ourselves, having basic supplies available would have been appreciated.I’m sharing this as honest, constructive feedback. With better maintenance, attention to safety, added warmth, and more adequately stocked essentials, the property could provide a much more enjoyable experience. Guests expect a rental to be comfortable, safe, and properly equipped for the duration of their stay.P.s. Tacos West Avenue is close by and very well worth it.

This house is honestly nice the only issues we came across is the kitchen floors are caving in and its all torn up. We also came across a few cockroaches. One of the bedrooms is a master closet converted into a bedroom. The outside grass was super over grown and the back garage/bedroom was uncomfortable to get to, need to create another step to get down from main house or a little deck to walk across. Otherwise the house was cute and comfortable. Beds are nice and soft not like most other vrbos.

The picture of the outside of the house was deceiving in regards to the neighborhood. Bedrooms had no where to set your items…aka dressers, tables etc

Stranded Travelers

**TRAVELERS BEWARE**Do not book this home. Host will cancel 15 mins before check-in and leave you stranded in a city with no place for your family to stay. He will blame VRBO's system for a glitch of "double booking" and simply tell you to contact VRBO support. Please beware that VRBO does not allow same day bookings and Hosts are allowed to cancel at any point in time of your reservation. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone stranded in a parking lot in a city I do not live in trying to find a place for my family to stay. VRBO blames the Host and the Host blames VRBO all while the customer gets screwed. VRBO also states your stay is guaranteed but that only means they will reimburse you if you book another stay through Expedia (they parent site) up to 150% of your original payment amount or they will pay ONE night stay and you are to figure the rest out on your own for your remaining days. VRBO's customer service lied and said their rebooking team would contact me to assist with finding another booking for my second night stay. It is now 2 days later I have retuned home and I have not received and email or call from anyone from the VRBO team regarding my reservation. I am out of pocket an additional $600 plus. We were expecting to stay in a home for the weekend. We had to throw a weekends worth of groceries away as we had no refrigeration. Pay again for food and a new hotel rooms for my party of 6. I would steer clear from this home and VRBO!
