We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.
What To Bring We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

Everything great about the home and hot tub. We had a great stay with no issues. Host very responsive. Ceiling fan in bedroom by kitchen isn’t working but management aware. No complaints at all!
The cabin was clean, cozy and very well stocked and situated. The only issue was the road to the cabin. It was very, very bad. The ruts are a foot deep in many places and almost impassable in many places. Not a safe road after dark.
This place was amazing and immaculate. However, the location is fine it’s just navigating the roads and we had a 21ft boat that I did enquire about prior to and they said it would be fine, lol! If you’re NOT an experienced boater and know how to back up a boat from basically the main road, you’re screwed.
This place is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Such a beautifully decorated cabin, with two master suites and all the amenities! The outdoor living area and hot tub make it hard to choose which space you want to spend the most time in.

BEAUTIFUL Cabin!
Our stay at Staves and Steel Ranch was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the cabin's beauty, both inside and out. Nestled amidst serene natural surroundings, the cabin’s charm and elegance provided the perfect backdrop for a peaceful retreat.
The interior was a dream—beautifully decorated and perfectly appointed to meet every need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the linens were pristine and luxurious, making us feel truly pampered. The kitchen was spotless and stocked with everything we needed making meal prep a breeze.
One of the highlights was the shower—an absolute oasis. Spacious and well-designed, it delivered a spa-like experience that we looked forward to every day.
Overall, this cabin was a slice of heaven. Whether you’re seeking a cozy romantic escape or a couple's getaway, this property is a gem. We can’t wait to return!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CABIN!
The S&S cabin is rustic, but levels up with every modern creature comfort you need, including the most awesome gameroom! We came for relaxation and reconnecting... and this cabin delivered it! Whether you love spending time in a gourmet kitchen, cooking and laughing with family or friends; or you love chilling on a deck, sitting in a spa with a glass of wine while watching SyFy channel on the outdoor TV.. this cabin has it all. The comforting bedrooms, sauna-style showers, and the outdoor features were everything we could ask for! And every thing about this cabin is well-maintained, clean, and modern, despite giving off the best rustic vibes! Love the barrel sinks in the bathroom!
We are already planning for a repeat vacation at S&S, or looking into other TreeLine properties since I feel this level of attention to detail at the S&S is probably their 'signature'! If so,I am sure to enjoy another cabin as well!

Pretty Cabin. Could Use Improvement.
Overall, we enjoyed the size of the cabin. Perfect for two adult couples staying as each bedroom had a connected bathroom. We were very excited about the bathroom showers; however, water pressure was poor. Due to the water pressure, features like the overhead rainfall shower head and side facets couldn’t get soap off well. Had to use the handheld. The water also didn’t get very hot. Our friends had the same issue in their room’s shower. The property was very pretty. We found it difficult to get to the cabin (roads were pretty winding and dangerous to navigate with many potholes). Definitely would recommend taking a truck with four wheel drive if you have that. Also would recommend taking not very many cars. The driveway was small and hard to move around with two cars. I would say that’s the max it could comfortably fit if you’re coming and going in different vehicles at different times. The property was overall clean, but I disliked that there were several hairs in our bed. I could tell that the sheets were washed but no effort was taken to remove LARGE and long hairs from the sheet surface. That being said, the bed was VERY comfortable. We slept well! I think having a copy of the house rules concerning chlorine and cost for firewood left there would be helpful. We did not have service near the cabin and the wifi dropped a lot. We had a good time, but there were definitely areas to improve to make a cabin that cost this much truly worth the price.
