About this property
Perfectly Imperfect Cabin, in forest near Blue Ridge. Relax and enjoy nature.
Tranquility awaits in the forest just minutes north of Blue Ridge. Bring friends, kids, and pets to relax at our cabin with tongue and groove ceilings, weathered barn lights, and a wrap around porch that's perfect to enjoy nature. Modern amenities and a great floorplan make our cabin great for groups of any size to spend time together.
We're in the process of making the cabin even better! Construction materials on site may obstruct some parking space, but we won't schedule any construction during your stay.
Winter weather in January 2025 is causing frequent power outages. Bring your coziest blankets to keep warm. Be ready to light the gas wall heater and use the gas stove if needed. Since we can't control when power will be available, we've discounted stays during the Winter Construction period.

About the host
Hosted by Amanda or Nick

Over the years, we've enjoyed traveling to locations where we can enjoy the surroundings and get away from the busy routine of everyday life. We enjoy sharing our home with you to experience the same peaceful getaway that everyone needs from time to time.
Why they chose this property
Our Perfectly Imperfect Cabin is nestled in the forest with a wraparound porch from which we enjoy beautiful mountain views. We love sitting on the porch and listening to the tranquil sounds of nature including the wildlife and nearby creek. The properties are large and everyone respects each other and the forest by keeping the noise and lights to a minimum during quiet hours.
What makes this property unique
Our Perfectly Imperfect Cabin is authentic with hardwood floors, tongue and groove ceilings, weathered barn lights, and a stone-faced fireplace. We try to keep original, rustic elements by restoring them when possible. It's a constant work in progress, but the imperfections accentuate the cabin vibe. While it's easy to unplug (no cell service at the cabin), modern conveniences are possible if desired with broadband WiFi, a 55" smart TV, and Alexa. If you're looking for tranquility, but don't want to completely give away conveniences, this is the place for you.
