Your Midlothian adventure begins at this 3-bedroom cabin. Nestled in a serene setting, this beautiful property offers a cozy escape for guests. With a queen bed, full, futon, and twin bed, there's plenty of space for everyone to unwind. The cabin features essential amenities like a washing machine, AC, heating, and Wi-Fi, ensuring a comfortable stay. Immerse yourself in the gorgeous surroundings and take in the tranquility. Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions or simply relaxing on the porch, this excellent cabin is the perfect home away from home. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our cabin. We live on the property and the tiny house faces away from us looking out 6 acres towards the pond. It isn't ideal for everyone; however, you are there alone as far as we are concerned. We do not interfere with your stay.

I do have working friendly, dogs on the property for the livestock. I can be available to hang out and socialize if you would like. (If available)
If not, we'll only be present if needed by reaching electronically.

The tiny home was just perfect for my two grandsons and me. My daughter had to work but joined us later. We had plenty of space and the place held all the essentials and amenities (including coffee and filters). It was clean with added benefits of an early morning alarm (Rooster crowing) and welcoming greeters (2 dogs and 2 pigs) that saw us off each morning and greeted us back on arrival. My 8 & 10 year old grandsons loved it!

The tiny farmhouse was perfect for a quick little get away for my husband and me. It was a bit difficult to get to but the host gave great directions. Other than the rooster waking us up at 5 am, everything was great!!!

The house is located in a beautiful location, the farm animals give you a sense of a farm living experience, the house was clean and the A/C crips and cold that is a plus. But I will said this house is more for a couples retreat. You know like a weekend away from the kids. But also you can bring them and have fun too. And you can ignore the happy dog ant the porch and two mischievous pigs, they will make you laugh.

For our stay , we didn’t feel that the photos accurately represented the conditions of the rental.From general uncleanliness, to actual concerns about exposed crumbling drywall to buckling flooring . I wasn’t comfortable taking my shoes off , or using the bathroom . I was only offered 50% refund when it should have been a full refund . After driving all day , we literally walked in and walked right back out . It definitely appeared that the structural issues were water leakage related , leaking water and moisture mean mold . And with a son with asthma we can’t take the chance of wondering what all the black debris was . Do NOT recommend this stay .

Thank you for your feedback. We understand and respect your decision to leave due to concerns about your son's asthma and medical needs. While we acknowledge there were a few maintenance and cosmetic items that required attention, we disagree with the conclusion that the property had mold or mildew issues. No mold or mildew has been identified at the property, and in over two years of hosting we have never received a report of mold or mildew from guests or inspections. The exposed drywall shown in the photos was the result of a recent refrigerator replacement that required temporary access modifications. The black spot on the cabinet referenced in the review is paint, not mold. We also identified damage around the entry door, which is being repaired. We strive to accurately represent our tiny home and its farm setting through our photos and listing description. While we regret that the property did not meet this guest's expectations, we worked with both the guest and Vrbo to provide a substantial goodwill refund and resolve the matter promptly. We remain committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable experience for our guests.
