Summary:
Relax & Unwind at this freshly updated lakefront retreat. Enjoy breathtaking views from the screened in porch that is directly on Lake D'arbonne. This house is just a few steps from the water and only a few minutes from town! The property features luxury bedding and high quality mattresses and was completely updated and refreshed with new furniture in 2024. Indoor and Outdoor games for the entire family! A gas and Green Egg Grill. Both Keurig & Community Coffee Grounds available at this property.

The Space:
Two comfortable living areas with large smart TV's, video games, 100+ DVD's, and tons of board games. A covered outdoor cooking features a big green egg ceramic grill, gas grill, and fish fryer. Our large kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to feed the entire family. House can sleep 8 very comfortably and 10 if pull out couch is used. Patio features a large TV and built in wireless audio. Both Community Pods & Ground Coffee Provided

We manage the 5 Bed/5 Bath next door, contact us for group deals - both houses together can sleep 18!!

Getting Around:
Restaurants & Grocery Stores are about 7 minutes away in Farmerville. Louisiana Tech University, University of Louisiana at Monroe, and Grambling State University are all within about 30-40 minutes of this property. The Ruston Sports Complex, West Monroe Sports Complex, and Sterling ton Sports Complex are less than 45 minutes away.

Other Things to Note:
PLEASE NOTE: They are Lowering the lake beginning September 1, 2024 to allow property owners to repair seawalls and docks. The lake will begin to come back up in the spring of 2025 depending on rainfall.

We welcome friends & family but do not allow receptions, parties, or large gatherings of any kind. Please reach out in advance if you have a question about this policy. Pets are not allowed at this property unless approved. The house next door is available to rent and sleeps 10 for a total of 20 between both properties.

Excellent property for an enjoyable time away from home!

Property was very clean with everything you need for your stay! Communication with property owner was excellent and they went out of their way to accommodate getting my boat out of the severe weather that came while there. Highly recommend this property!

Great Family Getaway

Our family had a great time with lots of activities from fishing, grilling, games, and lots of tvs to watch football! It is nicely furnished for our group of 8 and the split bedroom floor plan was a plus. Each bedroom has a full bath with everything you need. It was very clean and we’d definitely stay again.

a great guys weekend

The screened porch right on the water is the highlight - especially during the rainy day. We watched movies on the porch TV in the evenings after watching baseball and basketball throughout the day. This is not a big house, but the space works very well. All rooms are well laid out and well furnished - exactly as presented. This is our 4th place to stay on Lake d'Arbonne, and our favorite so far.

Perfection

We loved this house! The lake is so beautiful! Our 80 year old mom, my sister and I stayed for 3 days of sewing and relaxing. We brought our sewing machines and fabric and sewed the whole time. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room. The house was clean and lovely. We will definitely be back!

Family Trip to see our mother in Farmerville for the last time.

What was so special about it was the wonderful home on the lake with my brothers, wives, niece and nephew. Traveling from all over the country. We LOVED the screened in porch, the living room, Being able to be together again “one more time” to see mother.We laughed, reminisced of our stories with mother out here in Farmerville. Wonderful Unfortunately, Mother passed away on April 8th, 2025. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve had in Farmerville visiting mother “ONE MORE TIME” at your home.

An absolute gem!

This place was amazing! We absolutely loved it! I stayed with my sister and my two kids, and we were able to absolutely rest and relax! I stayed on the patio or the pier most of the time! Also, if you go fishing right at sunset, you’re going to catch a lot of catfish!

Cute 3bed/3bath cottage. Plenty of space to spread out. Darling screened in porch with games and seating for all. Other than some plumbing issues it was amazing!

Wonderful house!

Did Not Want To Leave!!!!

Perfect get away for some peace & quiet! The house is so warm, welcoming, cozy & stylish! The views are amazing & were so therapeutic. We honestly did not want to go back to the city at all! We're definitely planning on coming back here asap.

Far better than expected

My family and I decided to come stay on the lake for our daughter’s 16th birthday. The place was an absolute dream!! Pictures do not do it justice. Very spacious, never once felt on top of anybody. The place had everything we needed and communication between the host was effortless with swift responses. Our family and Guest had nothing but good things to say about it. We ate at Rhett’s Tails and Shells which was the icing on the cake. Will come back!!
