The Ponderosa House is tucked into a peaceful lakeside community along Lake Coeur d’Alene, just south of town. Here, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, a quiet wooded retreat with lake access, while still being a short drive from downtown Coeur d’Alene.

Take a short walk to the community beach below the home, perfect for relaxing by the water, launching a kayak, or enjoying the lake views. While the neighboring marina is private, a nearby public boat launch makes it easy to spend the day out on the water.

When you’re ready to explore, downtown Coeur d’Alene is about 15–20 minutes away and offers great restaurants, shopping, and lakefront attractions. In the opposite direction, you’ll find scenic drives, hiking trails, and beautiful North Idaho scenery. Whether you’re visiting for boating, outdoor adventure, or a relaxing lake getaway, this quiet area of CDA is an ideal home base for families and groups.

Guests have access to the entire property during their stay, including the home, outdoor decks, BBQ, and community beach access below the property. Please note, the neighboring marina is private and does not include guest access to docks or boat slips.

1st Floor (Downstairs)

Guestroom 1:
This room features a king bed and a closet.

Guestroom 2:
Spacious guestroom with a king bed, cozy chair, and storage for clothing and luggage.

Full Bathroom:
This downstairs bathroom is separated into two rooms, one with a sink and toilet, and the other with another sink and large walk-in shower. The bathroom is shared by Guestrooms 1, 2, and 3 and also serves as the downstairs common bathroom.

Laundry Room:
Located near the bedrooms, kitchen, and living area, the laundry room includes a washing machine, dryer, and laundry supplies for your convenience during your stay.

Guestroom 3:
This room features two twin beds and a spacious closet with plenty of storage.

A big, comfortable space perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Lake Coeur d’Alene and North Idaho. Gather around the gas fireplace or enjoy movies and shows on the smart TV while the large sliding glass doors bring the outdoors in.

Dining Area:
The dining area includes a round table with seating for 4, plus additional seating for 6 at the kitchen island. The open floor plan connects the dining, kitchen, and living spaces, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Kitchen:
The kitchen features a large island with seating for 4 and 2 additional barstools. It’s equipped with a large fridge, gas oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, and everything needed to prepare meals during your stay.

Guestroom 4 (Master Bedroom):
A spacious master bedroom featuring a king bed, sitting area, and an additional room with a twin bed and dresser. Guests have access to the community beach below the home, perfect for relaxing by the water, launching kayaks or paddleboards, or enjoying the lake views. While the neighboring marina is private and does not include dock or boat slip access, there is a nearby public boat launch available for guest use.
