Amazing house on the River!

This house was even nicer than expected! Amazing views, literally right on the river. Huge house with plenty of room, several separate spaces made this perfect for a larger group. Very well equipped and the host was very attentive. Idyllic riverside vacation home.

Beautiful home right on the river with equally beautiful landscaping. Well stocked kitchen(s). Lots of room for everyone to sleep and spread out. This is our 2nd visit. Hope to have a 3rd sometime in the future. Host is attentive and very responsive.

We had a wonderful time staying here with our family. The location was great and the yard was amazing! We loved sitting by the river at night and enjoying the sunset. The house is large and fit us well. It could use some more furniture in the upstairs living room for seating. The locks on the external doors are a bit tricky, but we figured them out. Some of the bathroom doors do not have locks, which wasn't great for a large group. It would have been nice to have some extra bath towels. Overall we would recommend this place for anyone with a large group!

The property's location was even more beautiful than expected. The photos do not give it justice! We had a few issues with a toilet not flushing and eventually flooding, a broken blind in one of the rooms, and a broken toilet seat, but overall, it was the perfect spot for our family location. Our 96-year-old grandma couldn't access anything by stairs and the main floor had enough space for all 11 of us to spend time together .

The home needs work. The basement had a strong sewer smell. None of the windows or doors locked properly. Faucets leaked. We really enjoyed our stay but could have been better. Check out time was 11. we had lawn service cutting grass at 9 and cleaning service there at 10 am.

This house is amazing! We were checking off bucket list for our 83 year old parents by spending our vacation in Glenwood Springs! This home was perfect for our family! The house was nice and the views were amazing! The rushing river put us to sleep each night! I would highly recommend this rental!

Excellent home for skiing in Aspen

Had a great time staying at this home near Glenwood Springs. Nicely located for skiing in Aspen without paying crazy prices for rentals in that area. The house was very spacious and easily accommodated our large group of friends with plenty of parking for 7 vehicles (or more). Beautiful river running through the back of the property with a fireplace and chairs right next to the river. The hot tub was also clean and had great with views of the river. The "apartment" is attached directly to the main cabin, which was perfect for easy access, while still giving space to anyone that wanted to get away from the main living areas. Highly recommend!

My five children with families joined me for our Christmas. The home was big enough for personal space, yet small enough to feel like home. Beds were comfortable. Loved the view. Kids enjoyed the trampoline. Adults enjoyed the serving counter and hot tub. We'd like to go back during the summer months!!!

Beautiful property but lots of interruptions

Overall the stay was enjoyable. The location by the water was perfect! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen gadgets you could need. The hot tub and fire pit area was fantastic! Unfortunately, our stay kept getting interrupted, and we were only warned about 1 of them. While we were there, we only had 1 uninterrupted day. The hot tub people came twice, they had a contractor come to inspect the roof, and the lawn care company came out. While I understand that the lawn care people probably come on a set schedule, I couldn't understand why the other contractors couldn't come on a check-in or check-out day. Since you have to check out by 10a and the next group can't check-in until 4p, it seems like those would be perfect days to have contractors come out without interrupting anyone's stay.

Property Alone sells This!!

We enjoyed our stay, it was a beautiful location. However, we had some issues that the manager addressed like not having hot water, electrical issues. We were told one thing and it never happened but we made it work. Again, this is a nice house and we believe that they need to take some time and fix some issues. We would stay again but would like to see some updates and issues resolved.

Great Place for multiple families or larger group

The location is beautiful, right on the river, and a little hill to the side for the kids to sled down. The layout of the house was perfect for our 3 families traveling together. A family downstairs, one up stairs and then the 3rd enjoyed the apartment above the garage. We enjoyed the space to have some peace and quiet at times but also getting together in the living room and around the spacious dining room table to meals, games and hanging out. Close to downtown Glenwood Springs, Sunlight Mountain and just about anything you would need during your stay. The hot tub is off the master which wasn’t ideal but we made the best of it. We highly recommend staying here and will be back on our next trip.

Fun times, great property, some improvements would make it 5 star.....

The best parts of the property were the size and versatility of the house, the location and the outdoor area. The yard and the location of the river were five star. The willow trees in the spring and summer are awesome. The size of the house and the configuration allows for privacy for the guests. What would make it a more complete experience would be upgrades including carpet cleaning or replacement (stains), fixing or replacing the main floor refrigerator (door won't close tightly), upgrading some of the worn dated furniture. Judy, the property manager was very helpful and responded promptly to our requests.

Property manager was very responsive to our issues: 1. Dirty hot tub. 2. Dishwasher not functioning. All was repaired. 2 br/2 bath up, MBR 1.5 baths and kids BR on middle, 2 BR/1 bath down. Very small common area where kitchen is seats 4 plus 2 dining chairs. Dining table so huge that cannot walk around it. Good for families, not couples. Screens are sealed with blue painters tape to keep out bugs. Gorgeous property, sadly house is not a kept up as property.

Great house! Missing some essentials

Overall, great stay and the house is perfect for a large group. The location next to the river was fantastic and peaceful. Great spot for skiing in the Aspen area since the price is much more reasonable. There could be some upgrades which would make the stay more enjoyable such as new oven and dishwasher because they did not work well. The grill was dirty and flared up due to not being cleaned. There were a few items that we were surprised were not supplied. Almost no hand soap, lack of cleaning supplies, not enough towels. Also, there was not an extra set of sheets for the pull out bed.
