About this property

Beach Front on Beautiful Jenkins Pond, Quiet Area, Discounted off season rates!

High beamed ceilings with upstairs bedroom loft overlooking the pond. Two additional bedrooms are on the first level. The lower level has an oversized family room which has two twin sleep sofas for a total sleeping capacity of 8 people. There are two full bathrooms, one on the first floor and one in the lower level. Walk in the door and take in the view from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and kitchen which overlook the beach in your back yard. The downstairs has a walk-out slider which brings you to the lower wooden deck and outdoor shower. There are lots of windows throughout the house which provide plenty of sunshine. The oversized family room in the lower level is equipped with a flat screen TV, a large full bathroom/laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer, as well as a private sitting area in the back. Please note that the backyard beach is one of many around the neighborhood and is part of a small association and open to neighborhood residents only.

The upper deck wraps around both sides of the house with lots of room to enjoy an outdoor BBQ.

Come back from a day at the ocean and jump in the pond or take a warm outdoor shower.

Walk up the street and enjoy the association beach.

In the fall and winter months, cozy up to the gas fireplace in the livingroom overlooking the beautiful backyard scenery, whether it be the autumn splendor or a snowy winter wonderland.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please bring all sheets and towels to the laundry area
Please turn off all ceiling fans and air conditioners. In the winter months, please turn thermostat down to 55 and make sure gas fireplace is off.
If the outdoor grill was used, please replace grease trap and make sure the grill is clean for the next guest. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet period is 10:00pm - 8:00am. We are situated in a neighborhood with year-round residents.
No political signs or signage of any kind is allowed to hang anywhere on the property

What a great experience! The house was beautiful, very clean, and well fitted with sheets, towels, soaps, etc. It's obvious the hosts have spent considerable time to ensure that their guests have a wonderful stay at their property. There was even a bottle of wine on the kitchen island when we walked in. The bed was comfy, and the room stayed nice and cool with the A/C. Sitting on either deck and staring out at the crystal clear pond was the perfect way to unwind and relax. The views are stunning! And Lisa was extremely accommodating and helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway. 10/10! Love it.

Wonderful property on serene Jenkins Pond. The house is beautifully situated right on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed using the kayaks on the pond. The week was spent visiting Martha’s Vineyard, exploring Falmouth, fishing boat trip and biking. I can heartily recommend this great property.

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location. The view of the lake is spectacular. The house was super clean and the hosts reached out early to make sure we were set with access to the house. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic property

Perfect Family Cape House

A cozy holiday getaway!

Our family gathered here for Christmas this year, and had a fantastic time. Such a beautiful location and large flexible space to bring us all together for a very special holiday weekend. Very clean and well appointed, complete with a cozy gas fireplace and amazing views of ducks and foggy mornings on the lake. The host even put up decorations for us! 🎄Wonderful spot.

I speak with everyone before their arrival date to answer any questions and tell you a little bit about the house. I'm always a phone call away if anyone needs me during their stay.

Why they chose this property

You get the best of both worlds....a crystal clear beach in your back yard, as well as the ocean 10 minutes away. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, shopping, a ferry trip to Martha's Vineyard, fine dining, movie going, a scenic bike ride on the famous Falmouth Bike Trail. Everything is at your finger tips. And at the end of the day, settle back, relax and enjoy the serenity of your own back yard!

What makes this property unique

You have a fresh water beach in your back yard, as well as numerous ocean beaches within a 10-minute drive. The beach in the backyard is semi private, but feels private for the most part. There are many small association beaches around the pond and neighbors are allowed to use them. Take a right or left onto Rt. 28 and within 10 minutes you're either in Falmouth Village or Mashpee Commons. Interested in spending the day in Martha's Vineyard? Take a 10 minute drive and hop on the ferry. You have the luxury of being in a quiet neighborhood, yet minutes away from everything the Cape has to offer.
