We had a great time staying here. House was very nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. Nice fenced in area for our dog to take care of business.
We had a wonderful vacation on the. island. The condo was everything we needed to enjoy the beach. The property manager was prompt, professional and courteous. She offered advice on local activities. We had a restful vacation.
Enjoyed our time here. The house has all the kitchen supplies you would need, right down to the seafood crackers! Pool was cold, and needed to be fixed and they were out the same day-so we had plenty of time to enjoy it. Love the huge sectional where we all could hang out together. We would stay here again!
Was a great time on the beach. Had plenty of room and comfortable surroundings. Walked right out to the beach from the back steps! Great place to spend with family and friends
Absolutely gorgeous location. Great view of beach from raised back deck. Property management heated the pool for us prior to arrival! House was clean and spacious. Would recommend.
Definitely Good Nuff!Super nice house! Fit our family perfectly. The floor plan worked great for us and the wonderful sized kitchen and living area was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and super nice bath towels provided. The back porch was one of our favorite places to hang out. The pool was small but perfect for our kiddos. Location was great and so close to the beach. We enjoyed watching the dolphins from the porch. Lots of wonderful memories made here.
The home and view were great. We enjoyed the pool..house was clean. Dishwasher is a pistol but useable!

Angela, your comment about the dishwasher ....what a great use of words. It got me too! But it is fixed now! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you soon!!!
We go on vacation as a family every other year. We have 3 adult children and their wife, girl friend and boy friends for a total of 8. This was the best vacation we have been on. Weather was great, house was beautiful and views were awesome.
We love Dauphin Island for it's relaxed feel and beautiful beaches. This was our second time to stay at this particular beach home. While it is beautiful and has a great location, it could use a deep clean. It had also been stripped of all beach toys and supplies that we have come to expect.
The reality agency is easy to contact and our stay is always pleasant.
This is the 5th year we stayed at Good Nuff. Everything about this house is perfect for my family. We found this house for my son who is a disabled veteran with a service dog-Freedom. It works for him because of the lack of crowds on the island. It’s perfect for this Nana to spend time with grandkids and children. We look forward to it every year!!
Dauphin Island is a family favorite for us. This year we traveled a little earlier in the year because we're expecting a new arrival in the summer months. And while the weather was a little chilly and windy making the beach less enjoyable than usual, the house and heated pool were great! The host was responsive to issues and resolved them quickly and also answered questions before and during our trip. And while this house is one row back from the.beach, there are still beautiful Gulf views and you can hear the sounds of the waves all day long.
My family and my brothers family met here for a week. Even thought Tropical Storm Alberto was in town the same week, we still made the best of it. The pool was a perfect gathering spot when the beach wasn’t as pleasant as we’d liked. Lots of cooking utensils were a plus also. The only complaint we had was the grill needs to be updated, especially since we ate at home 6 out of 7 nights. Much easier to cook on a grill for 10 people. Other than that, I’d highly recommend! Beds were comfy and furnishings were nice. I’d definitely book again!
We loved our time together on your beautiful Island. We had a few issues. The towels are dingy, and some even have holes. Towel rods and toilet paper holders are not in place in a couple bathrooms. The coffee pot did not work. Cookware has seen better days and alot of the dishes are chipped and need replaced. The landing on the steps heading down to the beach has a hole and needs a board replaced and ridiculous amount of splinters.
The entire house needs a good dusting. I found my self dusting and using the broom to knock out the dust from the vent in the cieling. My daughter stopped me.
I know you cannot keep everything perfect. Its just that I spent alot of money for a trip for my grandkids and i was hoping for a bit luxery.
House was very nice. We stayed a week, 5 adults, one 3 year old and two dogs. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Beds were comfortable, but bring your own pillow. When we got tired of sand and sun we enjoyed the pool.
First time on Dauphin island was a fantastic experience. The beach is quiet and feels private, no public beach access near the house. The house was very spacious with an amazing shaded porch to enjoy anytime of day to listen to the waves. Plenty of seating area. So nice to have a pool when we needed a break from the beach. The restaurants aren’t much to talk about, we did most cooking at home and the kitchen is stocked well with supplies. The bedrooms and bath are comfortable, clean and spacious.
I will give a shout out to the lighthouse bakery has delicious pastries and sandwiches.
It was a perfect vacation house for our family.
This is the 3rd year staying at Goodnuff and we have already booked a week for next year. We absolutely loved the addition of the pool this year. Everything was perfect!
The house was perfect for 7 adults, a baby, and 2 small dogs! Wonderful outside sitting area and a very short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend!!
We loved staying at this property! Kitchen was well stocked and the unit was clean. Our grandkids enjoyed the pool! Great ocean view, it was a wonderful place to relax and experience the beach! Definitely hoping to return.
Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family. Clean, unbeatable location, pool perfect (and warm!) for younger kids learning to swim — photos don’t do it justice.
Will definitely stay there again if back on Dauphin Island!

About the host
Hosted by Dauphin Island Real Estate, Inc.
Our vacation rental homes are individually owned by people from across the United States and beyond. They rely on Dauphin Island Real Estate, Inc. to be their management agency because they want professional management by the 'Dauphin Island Vacation Experts'. Our owners use their properties many times throughout the year. They enjoy the Island as much as we know you will!
Why they chose this property
We love Dauphin Island, a wonder of nature and full of history - a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico . The population is about 1,300. The town is included in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area. The island was named for Louis XIV's great-grandson and heir, the Dauphin. Our 'laid-back' atmosphere is prized by folks who enjoy serenity and natural beauty.
The eastern, wider portion of the island, is shaded by thick stands of maritime pine trees, but the narrow, western part of the island features scrub growth and few trees.
Dauphin Island is home to Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, The Estuarium public aquarium, the Dauphin Island Airport, boat ramps, a fishing pier located on the Island's eastern end, historic sites, several restaurants. Beaches attract tourism, and fishing is a popular activity in the waters around the island. The island is connected to the mainland by a 3.5 mile long bridge.
Although the entire island is a bird sanctuary, the main one is the 164-acre Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Dauphin Island is the first landfall encountered by many birds as they migrate north from Central and South America, and as a consequence many species can be found resting there before continuing their journey.
In 1519, the Spanish explorer Alonso Álvarez de Pineda was the first documented European to visit, staying long enough to map the island with remarkable accuracy.
The island's French history began on January 31, 1699, when the explorer Pierre Le Moyne, sieur d'Iberville, D'Iberville later decided to locate a port for Fort Louis de La Louisiane (Mobile). Fort Gaines on the eastern tip of the island was built between 1821 and 1848. It was occupied by Confederate forces in 1861, and captured by Federal troops during the Battle of Mobile Bay. The phrase, 'Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead,' was spoken by U. S. Admiral David Farragut just a few hundred yards from Dauphin Island's shore.
We love 'The Island' as much as we know you will!
What makes this property unique
There are so many reasons to love Dauphin Island. The atmosphere is quiet and laid back ( you are on Island Time ). The beaches are beautiful, white sand, miles of beach to walk and enjoy shelling, fishing, birding, watching the dolphins (lots of them)! The SUNSETS are fantastic...Dauphin Island is Alabama's 'Sunset Capital' Good'Nuff provides you with an awesome deck overlooking the views to the south, east and west. You are also close to the island-wide bike trail which is great for biking, running, or walking. There are no traffic lights on the island and life is truly low key. This will be the most relaxing vacation you can remember.
