Medina Mansion was ground zero for my son's wedding as well as our home for the festivities. From a comfort stand point, the AC worked well, the beds were comfortable and we had ample room for the 15 people who stayed on property. The kitchen was huge and the property provided all the necessary baby items we needed. The property is just lovely and my grandchildren loved playing on the swingset, fishing on the pier and playing on the sport court. One thing to know is there a very large pond on property that for me was a safety concern, but we just made sure there were dedicated eyes on my toddler grandson all week. Charles, the property manager was very attentive and easy to contact the whole week. We did have a few minor glitches that were addressed very quickly. Charles and his wife Jeanette were so easy to work with! I almost regret we couldn't just stay there sans the wedding as we barely had a chance to enjoy the amenities. Thankyou for an amazing wedding weekend!

Beautiful Home and Amazing Event Space!

The property is really lovely and there were plenty of options for sleeping for our group of 18. The kitchen was a great place to gather and the outdoor space is quiet and welcoming. The event space allowed plenty of room for our meditation and yoga practices. The property management team was responsive and helpful. The overall experience has made this our groups go to destination!!

Awesome Place!

We rented this for our family & extended family to stay for a near by funeral. It was a perfect location 2min outside of Brunswick, secluded, beautiful property, and beautiful home! The beds were all incredibly comfortable, and the house & property were perfect for large families to gather for any event. The new owner was incredibly accommodating, very quick to communicate any needs or questions that arose. The upgrades being made to the house and property shows that they really care about making this a top notch place for any event or place for large family to stay! 10/10 would recommend

The property was once amazing I’m sure, for what it is unless you’re having a wedding and need the space it’s over priced. Extremely outdated, cheap appliances and zero ice makers etc. we were there for just two days. This place could be amazing but needs some money put into it. Also the cleaning staff will sit out in the driveway and just watch you until you leave, which I thought was weird.

Amazing stay at the Medina Mansion!

I had an amazing stay at the Medina mansion!Right from the start, I felt incredibly welcomed. Getting inside was a breeze - the host sent over some super clear instructions that made the whole process smooth. What really stood out to me was the flexibility with check-in times. It was so accommodating, and I was super grateful for the offer of a late check-out that fit perfectly with my plans.Finding the place was no trouble at all, all thanks to the spot-on directions given. The cleanliness and upkeep of the house were top-notch, making my stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable. All in all, I'd give my experience a solid 10/10 and would absolutely recommend this Vrbo to anyone in search of a great spot to crash. A huge shoutout to the host for their incredible hospitality and for paying attention to the little things. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back here next time I'm in town!

Amazing place!

This place was amazing! We had family of 13 traveling from all parts of the country (including Hawaii) and we had more than enough room plus some. The property is super private and the kids enjoyed fishing in the lake and the late night fire pit, not to mention the movie theatre. My kids were born in Hawaii and have not had the opportunity to experience anything like this before. It was especially cool for me because Medina is the place where I grew up. Anytime we go back this will absolutely be the first place we try to book. Outstanding from top to bottom and Austin was prompt with his communication. They even let us extend our stay one extra night on short notice because our flights were canceled. I would leave 10 stars if it was possible. Thank you for a wonderful couple of days Austin! We will always remember this trip and this house.

As a wedding venue, the Medina Mansion appears gracious and picturesque. But in its current state, it falls short of being “the ultimate luxury retreat.”It’s impressively huge, but the carpets need a deep cleaning. The bathrooms lacked the basics of a Motel 6, much less a luxury mansion. There were no towel bars, no bathmats and only 1 hair dryer.Some bedrooms lacked bedside lighting, dressers and closet rods. One room had no top sheets, just comforters, which seemed unsanitary.The kitchen had only one small cutting board and one big skillet, which was crusty and pitted. The countertop icemaker was inadequate. The dishwasher rack was missing two wheels.One of the dining chairs broke, almost spilling my brother onto the floor.The pool table was so damaged it was unplayable. The house was supposed to have a ping-pong table, but it was MIA.On the plus side, the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed pickleball … until gunfire started up nearby, continuing off and on for hours.The bottom line: The mansion provided plenty of space, but it did not meet the standards advertised. Some of the amenities promised were missing or unusable. Other amenities expected in a luxury property were lacking.The owner/manager responded quickly and courteously. But I was unhappy with the resolution they offered: pizza and ice cream. They said they are working to address the issues.With improvements, the home could be a luxury mansion. For us, it wasn’t worth the splurge.
